I’m a basketball player and when it comes to basketball video games I am very picky. I grew up playing nba live, then added march madness games and had to switch to nba 2k. Gameplay for nba live has always been better and more realistic. NBA 2K always annoys me. It has better graphics but the gameplay is abysmal. I wanted to get a college basketball game again so I was debating between the 2K game or this one. Went ahead and bought this after watching YouTube reviews. I’m so glad I went with this one. Graphics are good on this, gameplay is very good. Offensively it’s realistic and easy to pick up. Only thing is defensively the players seem a little slow. Really don’t have much to say about this negatively. If you care about graphics maybe go with a 2K game, if you enjoy more realistic gameplay then go with an EA game
Game [presentation, with CBS and ESPN overlays, is some of the best ever. The gameplay itself is what you would expect from an EA basketball game, 2k is usually a little better. This game is still a staple of my gaming, hoping college sports come back one day.
This game is great and i would recommend it to any sports player... too bad they dont make ncaa games anymore... I would love a NCAA 14 with andrew wiggins on the cover,,,, but if your in the mood for college ball great game!
The game was awesome but there are some problems. It sometimes glitches and goal tending does not always count. Other wise there are a variety of teams to choose from, 2 announcing crews and you can compete with your favorite NCAA teams. The game is great for basketball fans and a casual gamer. Also the players don't have names so you don't have to worry about it being old. Note: Jerseys and Courts don't update so there recent as of 2009.
