Escape Dead Island is a third-person mystery-action-adventure game set on the enigmatic island of Narapela during the zombie outbreak of Dead Island. Escape explores the origins of the virus through the eyes of would-be documentarian Cliff Calo, who will switch between fighting and stealth in a shifting world that's never what it seems, brought to life with edgy, vibrant comic visuals.

Seek Out the Truth: Tear through a seamless world that reacts to your every move and collect every clue you can: somewhere amid the madness lies the truth behind Dead Island's apocalyptic outbreak
Survive Any Way Possible: There are no superpowers to keep Cliff alive, just a few makeshift weapons against hordes of infected. Choosing between stealth and combat will have a huge gameplay impact thanks to sound-detection AI and opportunities to use the environment to gain the upper hand
Explore an Island of Mystery: As Cliff ventures deeper into the island, the world begins to become more and more distorted and unpredictable. Surreal moments offer multiple interpretations, and each answer only raises more questions. Even time itself seems to loop and repeat in mind-bending ways

Would give 0 stars if possible.I bought this game new, years ago, and never played it until this past weekend. This is the absolute worst game I have ever played. I tried so hard to finish the game but with nearly impossible scenes, few scene skips, no saving when you want and just a ton of other faults I couldn't finish the game and felt like to finish said game or repeat another scene after dying I would rather be kick in the sack repeatedly.

It's... well, "meh."The game is definitely not anything that will be nominated for "Game of the Year." It's also not something that would be grouped in the same room with Aliens: Colonial Marines. The game itself is pretty fun until you run into random spots where the enemies are on steroids and kill you in a half a second. The game is also pretty glitchy and freezes on the PS3 at least once every hour or two. All in all, I would say to wait until it's maybe $15-20. I got it at best buy for $17 (with a couple gift cards) so I'm cool with that price. If you LOVE Dead Island like I do, you can look past a lot of technical and graphical issues and just enjoy being back amongst DI zombies in their tropical setting. I like the game but it's just.. well.. MEH.
