Product Description

Dragonball Z: Burst Limit is the first game of the Dragonball Z series to hit the next generation consoles, the PLAYSTATION3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360. The game features detailed graphics and dramatic, seamless battles, expected from a next generation console. The plans are to have characters and movement reminiscent of the animation, and high-intensity battles.During each battle, find conditions to create new dramatic scenes. After the battles, watch a unique story unfold each time you play. There is also a stronger element of offense and defense, due to added energy saving and fighting techniques.
  • Online Feature - Competition grows with the ability to play online in vs. modes.
  • Unique DBZ Story -During each battle, find conditions to create new scenes and watch a unique story unfold at the end of each game.
  • Higher Quality Gaming - Experience visuals and movement reminiscent of the anime due to Z3 shading technology and detailed effects.
  • High Intensity battles - Increased speed of charge and release on the field, free movement around the field, and increased speed and power of attacks.
  • Energy - Use of special skills will no longer drain energy. The lower your energy, the stronger you get, making for a possible turnaround of the battle.
  • Fatal Blow - Each character in the game has their own “Fatal Blow”. If the player successfully attacks his opponent, this would be a finishing move, but if not, it will put the player in the disadvantageous situation, and he must battle with no “Fatal Blow” for the rest of the battle.

PS3's Budokai

This was the next-gen Budokai style DBZ game on the PS3. The gameplay, wasn't the same though. It was oddly simplified while being a little complicated at the same time. It was harder to come up with your own combos, but you could also mash a lot to get things out. It's fun. It's worth a buy if you were a fan of the Budokai series.

Pretty good game, wish it went all the way through Majin Buu, all fights are pretty repetitive but overall a good game.

Definitely captures the dragon ball z feel and story but the game is missing some important characters and the fact that it stops at the cell games is a little bit disappointing

tries to be a dbz expirence and fails.

Ive played over 20 dbz games from the super nintendo to the ps3.this game is the thrid worse dbz game ever. 1. Being ultimate tenkaichi, 2 being kinect. This game wanted to bring a dbz 2d fighting style like budokai too the new platforms like ps3 and 360 and fails. Look i wrote a long review but this site froze. Its a medicore fighting game, and anime game. Biggest problems,1. roster (theres barely any charecters) , 2. Story doesnt stand out(u dont have any enjoyment reliving the fights, its fight somebody twice, then next) 3. Lack of cotent( this game has no team battles, no extras,no tornament, unforgivable for this day and age) 4. U cant charge ki( u cant charge upm dbzs biggest things are charging up and shooting beams! But in this game every charecter, including the saiyans are like anrdoids, they just regenerate ki) 5. All the specials r recycled animations from charecter to charecter6. Lack of customization( in budokais, tenkaichis, raging blasts u can customize stregnth, auras, moves, this u cant customize much) 7. They slapped broly and bardock in it cuz they knew it was bad( brolys voice is wrong, and he has no transformations, his moves are lack luster and boring) 8! The game ends at the cell saga! Yes it does. I couldnt believe it, even dbz games from 10 years ago at least finish the buu saga. No what if charecters, or stories! The game had ineteresting elements but didnt ezpand them(like kicking ppl a thousand feet into the stratusphere) this game was thrown out bcs namco needs to throw out 1 dbz game per year or it loses it liscence with shonen jump. So they rushed to get an hd dbz game onto new game platforms. With budokai 3 hd now on the ps3 i dont see why any reason for getting this game. If u want a good 2d dbz fighting style game get budokai 3 hd. If u want one like tenkaichi with 3d fighting get raging blast. End of story.

SIMPLY AWESOME MUSIC, STORY AND FIGHT SYSTEM... ALL IT NEEDS IS THE FULL CAN COMPLETE STORY WITH BLOOD AND CUT SCENES! IT ALSO NEED AN IN-DEPTH WORLD TOURNAMENT MODE WITH MINI CUT-SCENES BETWEEN MATCHES! THIS IS THE DBZ GAME THAT SHOULD BE EXPANDED UPON!!

burst Limit was ok, but some things were bad. The power gauge bugged me cause it charged itself up and that was a major satisfaction factor to the player. I got bored with the 2D gameplay within 2 weeks. I wanted something like tenkaichi or raging blast.

Its basically a remake of Dragon ball Z Budokai. This game features not enough content but its still amazing. although the story mode is short it still feels awesome. There is no tornament which sucks but there is online multiplayer! The online isn't really tht fun but this game is stiill an amazing recreation of Dragonball Z budokai
