Can you outsmart the true-to-life animals that can now see, hear and smell you? Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012 features the most realistic animals ever seen in the Big Game Hunter series. Every animal's unique movement and behavior gives you clues to what it will do next. To bag your trophy, you must avoid detection through cunning skills and deception. Climb to the top of a cliff for a better angle, but risk being spotted. Take the lower-elevation route with lots of concealment, but compromise target visibility – your success depends entirely on you. Dynamic weather and natural hazards put your survival skills to the ultimate test and make your hunt even more challenging. Shooting scenarios duplicate the controlled breathing, steady nerves and patience required for a well-placed shot. Utilize master hunting skills like advanced stalking techniques to close in on your targets and increase your success. When the hunt is over, head to the all-new Reflex and Target Shooting galleries, where you and up to three other friends can test your reflexes and accuracy.

A Waste Of Money!!I do not like this game at all. Graphics are excellent along with sound. But the storyline and gameplay suck. It's more of an outdoor adventure game. I'm a hunter and I expected this game to be more like hunting in the woods than a competition.
I would not spend this much money on this game if I was you. Get a good FPS game or an older Cabela's game!

A dissapointment.Ive played big game hunters in the past and they were great, but i was suprised and annoyed at this one. in the past, big game hunters incorporated SOME free roam and a variety of cool guns with decent graphics, but this game turns into north american adventures, with a few guns that you can ,sort of, customize (just upgrades, no real choice) and a set path, with a set goal, with set cutscenes. I will give the game this, the guns and animals sounded amazing, too bad they didnt look amazing too. this was a total dissapointment from (not what i hoped for) BUT WHAT I EXPECTED, within reason. overall, im dissapointed, and i hope the big game hunter goes back to the way it was, if I ever buy another big game hunter.

Another Great Cabela's Game!I am a fan of all of the Cabela's Big Game Hunters. I saw this come out and wanted to get it but I was broke. Then Christmas came around, and I got it for Christmas. This game is so much fun! I loved the story, even though it went by pretty fast, I still think it had one of the most exciting story lines yet. Also it has a mode called "Gallery" that you can play once you unlock each level. For every level you unlock in story, one is unlocked in the Gallery. You can play with up to 4 players and you can sign into your PSN account to get on the leader boards. Plus there are many mini-challenges hidden in the game to find. Overall a very, very great game!
