Utter DissapointmentI figured I would try to give this a shot and see if I could enjoy classic Mortal Kombat like I did as a kid, but I couldn't even get past the main screen! I can't even choose a game! A complete waste of money, and a shame GameStop would even be willing to sell this on their website. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!

I can't review because it won't go past the title screen. Wanted it to remember the original but I can't play it. Waste of money.

DO NOT BUY- GAME IS BROKENAfter reading countless other reviews about the GFWL workarounds and removals for the last few months, yesterday i really wanted to play some classic MK. So its on sale for $2.49 and i just bought it. It launches fine, except the title screen you cant do ANYTHING because GFWL is in the way and wont let you go any further. Trying several workarounds didnt fix the problem at all. So Im out a small amount of cash, at least it wasnt $10. Best way to play this is either on console download if its still there or just simply use an emulator.

Want a challenge...First off, I bought this for me to get into the Famous MK series and I decided to get the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection to play the ones that started it all. Overall, its really fun, but can be challenging at times. For instance, the boss battles are SUPER HARD, and if you want to see the guts and gore the MK series is known for it takes time to master the Fatality combo. (The game with easiest fatality combos is MK 1). If you want to play with a friend this is a perfect buy to play and humiliate your friend with the finishing moves. Other than that if you are a REAL hardcore gamer, buy this to complete the story and "Test your Might".

Excellent GameThe graphic quality in the game, is just like the arcade. Using a Logitech controller, the only problem (which can be solved), is imputing the up, down, left, right keystrokes, at the N, S, E, W positions, where the directional pad would be, on their gamepad software. Once this is done, and apply persistent profile is set (on the global settings), the game plays great.
The unique point to this game (and I do love graphics and a well written story), is that it’s about the skill of the players or competitors, and not the intricacy of the game.

terrible buy, well, i'm guessing the other reviews were people who want people to buy the game. let me start off by saying i met all the specifications. and when i play the framerate and performance is so bad i cant get past the loading screen. i have a laptop that can run bulletstorm and borderlands wonderfully and when i downloaded this piece of work i cant even get past the loading screen something must be wrong with the port. the company obviously did something wrong. i'm so glad i only threw away 2.50 on this game and not the 10 dollars. many others have the problem i've read multiple forms. dont wast your money on this....

KlassicThis is one of the best fighting arcade games of my generation. Actually one of the best fighting games of all time. Great to see it all come together on this current generations consoles. Goes great with the Mortal Kombat Tournament Arcade stick.
