aWeSoMethis is a great game it is very realistic such as how far away, type of round and where you shoot and many other things that allow this game to be sych a challenge its probabaly one of the best RTS games of our time. If I was you i would go by this game right now. its awesome. It also has an amazing map/battle creator in it called GEM editor 2 in it and it is amazing you can do so much stuff with it such a lay down a plane and just fly in circles on your map another amazing thing is that your not shooting at enemy units at point blank range and the sounds are some of the best, they are pre recorded so they sound just like a real tiger or sherman tank fireing at something. so thats why you should go buy this game right now no matter what go get this gameeeee

An amazing game. This is the first game i have played that goes so far into detail and micro-management. You can take control of one soilder or you can group them together. You might prefer the latter so they can share ammo and med packs. Unlike most games you cant set up a tank or group of guys in a spot firing constantly for hours on end. Everything has a ammo amount so conserve wisely. There are plenty of ammo crates spread throughout the maps so there is no huge ammo shortage. This game is very challenging and might not be for first time RTS gamers. At certain points it may be frustrating but if you tweak your strategy and keep on trying you can usually get through it. One of the things that frustrated me was there is no training. It gives you a basic outline of the most important stuff but most you'll have to figure out on your own. The campaign is really good. It has the Russians, Germans and Allies. Its nice to actually get to play as the Germans and Russians because for the most part WW2 games that i have played mostly focus on the Allies. There is many many hours of single player gameplay. Instead of the usual battles such as D-Day Stalingrad and the other more largely known battles of the war. They take a chance on battles that are not as well known. From the defence of a supply depot to the Germans invasion of Crete. All of which are wonderfully done and include a little history about it. Their replay value are pretty high in my opinion because you can always try a diffrent approach to beating it. Even after beating a mission you can still keep playing if you want to and finish off all the enemies left which i often do. The multiplayer is entertaining with a good variety of game types. But i havent had much time to play it because of the single player campaign. The graphics for this game are amazing. From bullets creating little puffs of dust as they hit the ground to a tank shell bouncing off the armor of another tank and hitting the ground nearby. At times it can be like watching a movie. I found myself getting caught up in watching it and realizing that i just lost my only tank. There was another really fun perk in this game that most dont have. You can take control of individual units and aim and move them around kinda like a third-person shooter. Most of the time you would only want to take control of tanks because of the sheer size of the battles. The sound is good when it comes to the guns firing and tanks taking hits. But the the voice acting is horrible in my opinion. I dont know if its just me but i think that they were getting their accents mixed up because the Russians kinda sound like they have a spanish accent. But luckily you dont have to hear their attempts all the time. Over all the good outweigh the bad a thousands times over. If you love WW2 games and a real challenge then i would suggest getting this game right away. Its definetly rated high in my collection of games. I hope you enjoy it as much as i do.

An Awesome game. This has to be the best armchair general game. First this is a very realistic game, it is hard on easy. The missions available will have you commanding thousands of units. Very good graphics, but the sound is decent and voice acting pitiful, but can be overlooked. The level of strategy is second to none. You can select an individual unit and loot enemy bodies, or any equipment, even take over tanks with the turret blown off. Line of sight is very important and you will find yourself using scouts to get enemy intelligence. Out of all the WWII strategy games this is the most complete package. In the near future there will be a Japan free add-on. The only draw back is there is no Skirmish mode, but there is a mod that takes care of that as of right now. You cannot find a better strategy game out there for the price as this one, I am pleasantly glad to have bought it.
