Product Description

Enjoy six action-packed entries in the Mega Man series with Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection. The collection features two series of games alongside a host of new features for both long-time fans and brand new players. All four Mega Man Zero games, Mega Man ZX and Mega Man ZX Advent bring their blend of high-octane action and precise platforming for the first time.

Join the Resistance as the titular fan-favorite protagonist, Zero, and save Neo Arcadia by mastering some of the most challenging and thrilling boss battles ever across all four games of the Mega Man Zero series. Taking place over 200 years after the events of the Mega Man Zero series, defend the innocent from Mavericks and discover your destiny as either the male or female protagonists of ZX and ZX Advent.

  • Classic platforming with a twist! – The Zero series builds upon the Mega Man X series with upgradable weapon skills, unique EX abilities, and “Cyber Elves” offering a range of enhancements; go even further in the ZX series with the games’ open maps.
  • All-new competitive rush mode – Z Chaser Mode allows players to race to complete challenges from both the Zero and ZX games.
  • Casual Scenario Mode and Save-Assist – New players can jump right into series’ futuristic universe with Casual Scenario Mode; bounce back from mistakes with the optional Save-Assist system to revive at the most recent checkpoint without losing a life.
  • Improved visuals and layout options – Experience the games using original sprite art, or toggle filters on for a clean look to the charming, classic sprites; choose from various layout options for the ZX series’ dual-screen display and controls.
  • In-game gallery and music player – Take a look back at the history of the Zero and ZX series with each collection’s massive repository of original production art, including a music player filled with both original tunes and special arrangements.

Wolf299 4 months ago
Best Answer :

Every game in the collection is a bit on the challenging side with the first one being especially difficult, but there is a setting that allows you to play each game on casual mode which has every collectable upgrade applied to you at the start of the game.

Q: Do you have to read, in order to play game?

BAM6 6 months ago
Best Answer :

Yes. The protagonists in these games must successfully fulfill missions. Characters must be talked to in order to begin a mission (level), and they present and explain the objective for each mission that must be fulfilled. Reading is also required to understand how to use new abilities and weapons the protagonists can find and use.

As a collection of 6 games its very much worth the purchase. Each game has its own pros and cons, but ultimately its multiple classics you're buying for the convenience of owning them all on one cartridge.

A Leap Forward

Megaman zero Legacy Collection was not only a trip to Memory Lane but a lot of fun and challenging at the same time. But I also find it weird because I'm used to playing Mega Man Zero on the Nintendo DS but never before have I ever played it on a PlayStation that's kind of like a Leep Forward into the future of what that means for maybe possibly the Mega Man X or Mega Man Zero series. For example if there is a Mega Man X 9 coming out soon then I'm going to be very excited if I see a Mega Man Zero 5 I'll be excited either way.

Cheaper than the buying the DS version, and includes the ZX games! With all new features, and higher resolution + graphics, this is possibly the definitive way to play the Zero games.
