If you only have one cartridge, they will all have to play at different times. You can make a different character and island for each system using the same cartridge. But you can only play on one system at a time unless you each have a cartridge. And if you have more than one cartridge you can visit each other on their islands. You might need the Nintendo membership also to do that.
All switch games save to the console, not the cartridge. This means that any game, including acnl, will have different data on different consoles
Yeah! I have a Switch Lite as well, and all of the games I have are both Switch & Switch Lite compatible! ^^
I think you will find that you need a separate license for each. The general rule is: One license = one island. Trying to run it on two consoles, even if not at the same time, is a recipe for heartbreak. Whoever installs and runs it first will basically get their island "attached" to that license and the other daughter will not be able to do anything to speak of.
Yes its works btw I am new I don’t know how to play
Yes, the game plays exactly the same on either version. I have the older model and have no problem playing alone or online with friends that have the new and old switch.
I would assume so as the hardware is the same and i doubt they would add motion controls to it.
There are not really any that I am aware of, but maybe I just never heard of one like it. The closest I think you can get is a game called Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles; however, I don't really think it's that similar to AC. It's an open world game. You have to look for "sprites" to open sections of the maps. There are villagers that ask you to do things, you can trade items you find and there is a farm you can own. I didn't play it for long because I just couldn't remember the map or locations of items, but it's very laid back with beautiful graphics. A lot of people don't like the controls and how the character moves, but I think that might just be more about getting used to the characters boundaries. The next closest that I can think of is called Stardew Valley. Although it's more of a farm simulating game, there are people in town that you can get to know, and the more you get to know them, you get "heart events," showing that you are becoming closer friends. There is a board in the town where the townspeople can ask for you to do tasks, plus you get mail from them with recipes and whatnot. Stardew Valley can be a very addicting game... I have heard that My Time At Portia is very similar to Stardew Valley, with different graphics, but I have never played MTAP. Good luck on your quest to find a similar game.
As far as I know, the switch games aren’t compatible with the DS or 3DS.
Animal Crossing New Horizons is only playable on the Nintendo Switch. But the previous games to the series (New Leaf, HHD, Welcome Amiibo) are 3DS compatible!
