You will need a regular SD card for the 3ds xl. The micro sd card would be too small, and wouldnt fit. So no, it wouldnt work.
It works with 1tb cards there's a guy on youtube showing a 1tb card used
Yes if will to a point! However it also increases processing speed of the switch lite! If you are planning on playing games such as fortnite it does help! Additionally if your playing breath of the wild the sd card will allow for smooth transitions and cleaner rendering! There are better ones out there if your willing to spend bigger money! I bought one just so botw and other high rendering games processed better and I’m glad I did!
I believe as long as the sd card is not formatted on the switch you can use it on other devices. Once it is formatted for a specific device then no.
It can also save screenshots and videos
That depends on the size of the game. Some games due to graphics and resolutions require more. If you have 10 games at 10 gs each. You should be able to use them with a 128 g stick. With 8 gigs left over excluding data that is needed to read and format the memory. Needless to say it depends on the memory need for the game to be played.
Yeah but I think there is a different place that you have to put it instead of the normal Nintendo Switch which is under the kick stand
Yes you can use it a micro sd is a micro sd
you should be able too but there has been accounts of others not working.
It really depends on the games you wish to put on there. As an example, I was able to fit all of Bayonetta, Monster Hunter Generations XX (with all DLC ) , Sonic Mania, Crash Nsane Trilogy, Musicnyx, Minecraft, Hollow Knight, Okami and a few other small indi games before I was down to my final few gigs. I would recommend getting the bigger memory as the switch really is at its best with more memory for portable gaming. In short, a 64 gig card could fit up to 4 full games and a few smaller ones. IF the list I gave you above is all you need I’d just get the 64 and update when you need to.
