This allows you to plug in your ps3/4 or Xbox 360/one controller into it allowing you to use those controllers on the switch. However, you will need to change a setting on your console before plugging it in or it will crash your console repeatedly until it’s taken out and can risk doing some serious damage to your console.

Q: can you use 2 switch ups at once so you can connect 2 controllers or can one switch up do 2 even?

No you can only use one. I also would NOT recommend this product. It will kick your game offline throughout gameplay quite frequently. It will reset your whole system each time it does. Uncontrollable vibration will occur on your controller not allowing you to play the game. It's really not worth it. Also it dies NOT come with instructions. You have to Google them online.

Q: The enhancer won’t work anymore for Pokémon sword and shield because it usually goes to options but now the new expansion pass is on the bottom right hand corner and it goes to that instead. So how do I fix that?

The only way I could see to fix this is to buy the expansion as this makes the icon in the menu disappear

Q: Since this works with the PS4 controller, does that mean I can even connect my headphone to the PS4 controller and I'll get the sound on my headphone?

Well since I got no answers I'll be answering my own question just so others will know. It works perfectly with the PS4 controller but sadly no, connecting the headphone to the PS4 controller won't make the sound go to the headphone. It'll just make the controller not work till you remove the headphone and push the middle PS button on the controller.

If you don't read documentation before plugging it in, yes, it can break your console. Easiest way to avoid this error is to return the product back to GameStop.

Q: This Switch Up Game Enhancer doesn’t work.  I plug it in the USB port in the switch dock and it gives me a Error Message.  It does not come with instructions or troubleshooting options, nor can I find any help online.  Am I missing something?

Check out www.switch-up.ca for the manual and tutorial videos.  As per the manual "BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO USE YOUR SWITCH UP DEVICE BEFORE​​ YOU CONNECT THE SWITCH UP DEVICE TO THE SWITCH DOCK, YOU MUST NAVIGATE TO THE SWITCH​​ “SYSTEM SETTINGS” AND SET “PRO CONTROLLER WIRED COMMUNICATION” TO “ON”.​​ Not doing so will result in an “Error Code 2011-0301”, requiring you to disconnect the Switch Up from the console, then reboot the Switch, and then change the setting to “ON”. You can now plug in your Switch Up and enjoy without issue."

The device assists you on Mario Odyssey and Zelda.  It is meant to help remove the frustration and grind from those games.  It also lets you use almost any controller with your Switch including PS4 and Xb1 controllers both wired and wirelessly.
