Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Pikachu Edition Wired Fight Pad Pro Controller for Nintendo Switch
Any game that supports Gamecube or Pro Controllers will accept this controller.
This is really only for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Plug it into the USB and it automatically identities it as a fight pad
No this is a USB cable controller.
Dear Goferbat, The Switch Wired Fight Pad Pro was tested using a basic USB 2.0 hub with 4 ports, connected to one of the USB 2.0 ports on the side of the Switch dock. The 4 Fight Pads were connected and working properly.
3rd party controllers are simply controllers not manufactured by Nintendo. This controller is manufactured by PDP, and is therefore a third party controller. None of the wired controllers you can find anywhere are made by Nintendo; the more trustworthy controllers are made by PowerA, Hori, and PDP. The only controllers you can purchase from Nintendo are wireless, and therefore much more expensive.
That's correct; it connects via USB A to the switch dock. The switch has a USB C port on it when it isn't docked, so it might be possible to connect to the switch undocked with a USB A female - USB C male adapter but this isn't guaranteed.
If the light is compatible with the charging port then yes
Thank you for your question, Nathan person. These controllers are made to last for years, but they also include a 2 year manufacturers warranty with a proof of purchase. -PDP Customer Experience
Thank you for your question, Patrick45208. The wired fight pads for Switch are USB controllers, so they require USB slots, not GameCube slots. The USB slots on the back of the Wii will not work for these controllers. -PDP Customer Experience
