Wario's Wii U Masterpiece Wario and his Diamond City friends are back in action. Game & Wario features a collection of games that use only the Wii U GamePad controller. The games retain the original flair and character of themicro-games from the WarioWare series. To earn medals and various bonus items, players are encouraged to play a variety of games
More DetailsLess Details
All single- and multiplayer games in Game & Wario are designed to use the GamePad controller in creative and different ways. Some of the entertaining games include:
ARROW – This single-player game transforms the GamePad into a hi-tech bow(shaped like Wario's mustache, of course) and arrow designed to defeat swarming enemies. Players hold the GamePad vertically with one hand to aim at enemies on the TV screen, while using their other hand to pull the arrow on the GamePad's touch screen.
SKI – In this single-player game, competitors must lead the skier to the finish line by holding the GamePad vertically and tilting it left or right. The TV monitor will show the skier's flashy moves to entertain the audience.
FRUIT – In this game for two to five players, the main player uses theGamePad to anonymously control one of many characters on the TV screento quietly steal some fruit scattered all over the town. Once the thiefcompletes the mission, the player passes the GamePad to the other players, who then must try to finger the suspect.
PIRATES – In this clever take on rhythm games, players can look into a whole new world using the GamePad. Players can look left, right, and even above them to block arrows fired from a pirate ship using the GamePad as a shield.
GAMER – Remember the thrill of playing video games past bedtime and trying not to get caught by mom? Players can relive their childhood with Gamer, where they need to play classic WarioWare microgames on the GamePad, while also keeping an eye out for mom on the main TV. When mom is close, a few quick button presses on the GamePad will help players pretend they are asleep, or else the game ends if they're caught by mom. It's the video game equivalent of patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time.
SHUTTER– In this game, players try to spot a list of targeted suspects or actors on the TV, then zoom in and take pictures of suspects using the Wii U GamePad as a camera.
DISCO – While each holding one side of the GamePad, two players alternate tapping the touch screen to battle each other in a fun disco competition, with a variety of different music.
The trademark humor and quirkiness of the fan-favorite WarioWare games make a return in Game & Wario, as well as many of the same Diamond City characters like Jimmy T. and Mona.
Clearing stages will earn players special tokens that can be used in a wacky chicken-themed capsule machine called the CLUCK-A-POP. These capsules contain in-game prizes and various microgames that players can have fun with.
Miiverse Sketch is a whole new mode in which players try to draw words that have been suggested on the Game & Wario Miiverse community. The sketch is then automatically uploaded to the Miiverse community, and with enough votes, the sketch has a higher possibility of being featured in the in-game gallery of other players.

packed with content CONDITIONALLYi was about to post a review about the dry single-player games, but someone beat me to it. i'm still gonna say it. the multiplayer games that come with game & wario are pretty fun, but the solo games are pretty subpar. also, it's a warioware game, but it's not a WARIOWARE game. it's kinda lifeless and bland, which is not what the warioware canon has ever deserved to be. the pirates game is great though and i will defend it to the grave

Very fun, Recommended for everyoneBest game ever!!! I love it, Recommended for parties! Lots of fun! What Nintendo said about this being fun, They are telling the truth! Game & Wario is a party video game in the Wario series developed by Nintendo for the Wii U. The game revolves around 16 minigames played using the Wii U GamePad.

Fun but can get quite oldThis game overall is a fun game. It's really simple and fun, but can get old quite quick. I know that there are other modes in each minigame but still, this game does get old easy. I suppose it does have some replay value, but not a whole lot. For me, this was a "beat it then don't touch it" type of game.

overall really fun gameoverall really fun game, there was only 4 multi-player games but they were all really fun, single player games were very fun and creative ways to use the game pad, and still fun to pass around with your friends. not as good as previous entries in the series but thought it was a good addition. for 40 dollars its deffinitly worth a pick up

Perfect for Parties... But that's all...This game is fantastic for a group. There are a few very fun group games. I might buy this title just for those 4 games. The thing is, when you don't have people over, this game can get very dry. A lot of the games are a slap in the face of Wii U owners. Remakes of Nintendoland games, and just boring and repetitive challenges. There are a few good single player games... But not enough to want to play by yourself for more than a half hour at a time.

Very Fun GameWhenever I try to explain what Game & Wario is to people, I usually compare it to Nintendo Land. It's a handful of little games that show what kind of things the Wii U and the Gamepad are capable of. Something to keep in mind before buying is that this is not necessarily a Wario Ware game. There are no games involving little snippets of mini-game challenges like regular Wario Ware games. Also, unlike Nintendo Land though, there is much more single player games in Game & Wario. I may be wrong, but I believe there are 12 single player games and 4 multiplayer games (1 of which only allows 2 players). I'm not trying to say that Game & Wario is a bad game. In my opinion it's one of the most fun games out on the Wii U right now. It's just that there is a higher quantity in single player games than multiplayer. Not to say, the multiplayer games aren't fun. My family and I were laughing and yelling while playing the game (We found the silly little filters that you can add to the pictures of yourself quite amusing). Overall, Game & Wario is a very fun game. I totally recommend it to any casual gamers as well as party gamers.

Very Funny gameI am very surprised how fun it is and the animations are very funny. Its not the fast mini games of the other Wario games.
