Oh my glob! D3Publisher reveals a few of the bosses in Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! Here is some background info for each boss you will encounter in the game:
Demon Cat – A feline dungeon dweller with a seriously bad attitude and an approximate knowledge of all things. The furry demon fires laser blasts from his eyes and has a long, cat-shaped tongue that he uses to lash out at his foes.
Prison Mob – Confined to the dungeon for crimes against the Candy Kingdom, this motley collection of skeletons, pigs, wolves, and crazed pixies will stop at nothing in their attempt to escape imprisonment.
Ice King – Ancient, irritable and half-insane, Ice King was born in days-of-old, long before the Mushroom War. This ruler of the Ice Kingdom wants nothing more than to marry a beautiful princess and settle down to a life of blissful matrimony.
Kitten – The magical offspring of Ice King's penguin servant, Gunter, and was hatched from an egg in the Ice Kingdom. This glowing feline has magical powers and can float in the air, protect itself with an electric force field and fire off rippling laser blasts. MeOooow!

Easy dungeon crawler for kidsBought for my 5 year old and he likes it. My only complaints are that it doesn't do a great job of explaining some basic things and the medal (equipment) aspect is a little too much for my son to understand sometimes. Its also extremely repetitive and the cost to level up abilities are way too steep for kids to want to sit down and try and obtain, especially since after you leave the dungeon you have to spend your hard earned (and scarce to find) treasure or you lose it all. This is probably my biggest complaint, since it takes forever to find enough treasure for an upgrade and then if you don't have enough you have to keep looking for more or go back top the overworld and lose it all. Little too much for a kids game.
TL:DR Overly simplified dungeon crawler in some aspects, not simplified enough in others.

I am in my ELEMEEEEEENT!!!I love this game but mostly because I love Adventure Time, WayForward, chiptune, and 8-bit graphics. This game will mostly appeal to fans of the series and anyone who likes randomly generated dungeons like the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. This game plays like an extended episode of the show presented in enhanced NES/SNES graphics that allows you to play most of the main characters in the series, the major exception being Bubblegum who acts as your guide outside the dungeon. The gameplay is repetive but remixed every few floors that keeps it fresh. BMO's insight is fun too and without him, the game would lose a lot of appeal (sorry PS3,360,PC). The difficulty gets rather punishing around the 60th floors and lower but no more so than oldschool RPGs. Upgrades are expensive but you can easily buy one upgrade every five floors, if not for your main character but for others. I'm having a lot of fun playing Adventure Time;EtDbIDK (I'm in my Wii U browser) and I urge everyone to ignore the negativity towards this game. The only legitimate flaws in this game is that, no, I don't think it was quite worth $40, but $20 is just right. Play it on Wii U. With BMO and multiplayer, it is the complete version.
