Surprisingly FunI bought this on a whim seeing it at GameStop, seeing the premise. All you do is walk to the beat and select things with the wiimote, but it works really well. It has a nice selection of songs and locals.

Great-gets you fit without feeling like a workoutLove it. Love to explore and build up the island. Really hope that Konami makes a Walk it out 2 (3, 4, etc).

Lovin itCan't wait to get on this game everyday. I walked 6 miles in one session. Game is great for all ages. You are walking but also building an island. There are windmills, and stores, and hotels that you build all while you are walking. The game tracks your steps and the more you walk the more songs open up for you step to. You only need the controller & nunchuck to get started, although the DDR pad can be used also. There are also ways of making the game harder or easier to fit your needs. I have had this game for 2 weeks and I have logged over 35 miles. I hope there will be a new version coming on the market soon. You will be tricked into working out while you are walking. I recommend this game to young & old--lots of fun and gets your heart rate up.

I was skeptical at first, but now I'm amazed!!!!"Walk It Out" has not gotten a lot of reception by the game critics but it's a lot of fun! I waited until I read the reviews on Amazon before I purchased this game, the only thing I wished was that I had bought it back in January the day it came out!!!! "Walk It Out" has been compared to Animal Crossing and other town building games, but you collect chips by walking and then the chips you collect are used to purchase items. I'll admit, at first I wasn't impressed by the title of "Walk it Out" or the box art, but I feel that Konami really did put A LOT of thought into the actual game. Yes, there is a little bit of room for improvement but I love walking in "Walk It Out" and I didn't think I could be so addicted to such a simple and fun game. If Yes, I can (and do) exercise quite a bit outside in the real world, but I'm a gamer at heart and "Walk It Out" is actually fun: both as a game and as an exercise. There is so much to find and collect in Walk It Out and once you get the hang of game it's really fun. you think about it: it is hard to walk for 1-2 hours outside and NOT notice that you've walked for that long, but there has been many a day(or night) that I've intended to play Walk It Out for only 15 minutes and then suddenly realize that I had walked for 1-2 hours and had so much FUN doing it!! The music is great and the game keeps me coming back every day. There's over 100 different songs and you can customize your own playlist to listen to the tracks you want to. The graphics may not be Xbox 360 or PS3 graphics but there was a lot of work put into them, the game seems to come alive at different parts of the day, if you play at night the Island looks like it's dusk(or night time) and there are different items available at various times of the day! There are a lot of options in the game, you can change how quickly you have to step in rhythm to the music or you can even make purchasing items on the Island cheaper, or you can even make the game harder, it's really up to you! Also, you have different options when it comes to playing styles, if you like using a DDR mat you can do that, or if you like using the balance board you can do that, or even the standard Wii and nunchuck(in the pocket) routine. I highly recommend at least renting the game and trying it out, but I for one: am actually glad I bought it straight up instead of renting it first. In the 6 days I've had the game, I've loved EVERY MINUTE and I have had some awesome exercise results! In 6 days I've played Walk It Out **I've burned 2478 calories! **I've walked 100,865 steps! **That is over 27.3 miles!! In only 9.5 hours of playing this game! If I had done 27.3 miles around my neighborhood in the past 6 days I would have been bored to death!

Addicting Game!I bought this game the day it came out - actually, the lady at the store hadn't even unpacked the box yet! This game is VERY addicting! I really get into the beat of the music. I start playing and suddenly I've done 2 miles! I have incorporated this into my daily workout. As soon as I'm done playing I want to play some more. If you do get this game be sure to use the map frequently to find the icons to click on (rainbow, zodiac, clock, etc) It makes life a lot easier and helps you find what you need to find! I use my balance board, controller and nunchuck to play this game. My only complaints are that I wish this interfaced with Wii Fit so that the data would be automatically imported - then I wouldn't have to enter it myself after the fact. I also wish that my Mii could be used in this program. Instead you design an anime person to represent you in the game - it's very limited in that aspect. I HIGHLY recomend this game. You WILL become addicted!
