Better than the original.I played the original Oregon Trail game as a kid. This updated version has been a blast with the whole family! I agree with some of the other reviews that if you want a high action game that this isnt for you. But if you loved the original then this is a great trip down memory lane.

A classic! If you enjoyed playing Oregon Trail on pc, you will enjoy the wii version. This game is more interactive on wii. If you are a hard core, shoot em up gamer, then this game is not going to do a thing for you.

Historical goodnessAlthough the graphics have a nintendo 64 feel and the gameplay has almost no action, this is an excellent game, but only for those who played the original oregon trail and enjoyed it. If you are looking for an action pack intense game, this is not it. It is the original oregon trail with marginally better graphics, expanded gameplay options and scenarios (sorry-no donner pary option).

Stupid. After a long wait for this game, I was excited. I don't know for what because this game is stupid. There is nothing fun about this game as it is such a waste of money.
I played through the first story of the game as I was so board I didn't start any more stories.. It got to the point where I wanted it to be done, but I started the game and I wanted to see it what it was like to reach the end.
I find the replay value ZERO!
You have to use the nunchuck to steer your wagon, I found that kinda stupid... I have a version of this on my cell phone and it is more fun then this wii game... I won't be playing it again and I will be turning it into gamestop.
