So what's the ideal golfing experience? Super Swing Golf 2 has got an idea for you! It includes even more courses and costumes than its first installment, including those of Ryu Hayabusa and Rachel from Ninja Gaiden. New modes such as the tour mode will allow players to acquire new items and costumes as they progress through the game. There are also new special moves such as spike shots which are like super shots that won't be affected by wind factors. And if that's not enough to wow you, the highly expressive characters with uniquely personal skills, beautifully-rendered exotic locations, multiplayer minigames, and crazy extra features like warp holes, RPG-style action sequences, dragons and little gelatinous animals that chase your ball around will!

A waste of moneyThis isn't necessarily a bad game. For those that like golf games and don't mind (or even like) the sugar-coated characters and music, this is a fine game. The controls work well, it is intuitive, and there is a wealth of modes and unlockables to extend the games lifespan. But for those that don't particularly love golf games or can't stand the cutesy characters, this game isn't for you. However, even if you fall under these two categories, a much cheaper and rewarding process is to download the online game for free. Despite being free, this computer version offers the ability to play with people over the internet, buy a greater number of clothing and clubs, and toy with a number of other features that the Wii version can't compete with. The only downsides to the online version are the keyboard/mouse control scheme and the difficulty of playing with your friends in person (you have to constantly switch chairs to be at the computer itself). So for anyone intersested in the Wii version, at the very least, download the online version and see if you like it. If your more inclined to play with friends in person (and you still love the cutesy characters and music), then the Wii version would be suitable to purchase. All others would be ill-served to even rent this game.
