Not so SuperThe Super Monkey Ball series used to be a massively fun collection of games... that is until it left the GameCube era. Most of the newer entries are not so great. They range from average to downright terrible... and this game is in the downright terrible category. Step and Roll is a boring and basic game that proves that the Monkey Ball series has been going downhill since it left the GameCube era. ------The visuals actually aren't all that bad, they are just so basic. Everything looks so... meh. It's hard to describe. -----The game, like I mentioned before, is boring. All of the levels are just not fun to play. The stages are so basic, as they are usually very easy to finish. The levels actually don't have that many hazards or edges to fall off like in the GameCube days. There are just stones in your way. Just roll around the stones for thirty seconds and pass through the goal. Not hard, just time consuming... and painful. A game should not be painful to play. The fact that I said that, makes me just want to end the review here. In fact, I will. The rest of the game isn't even worth mentioning, not even the party mode. So I will spare you your time to seek out better games, like Super Monkey Ball 1 or 2 on the GameCube.
