Another Music GameIt feels like the music video game genre keeps spewing out games every couple of months and consumers are just eating them up, with no end in sight. . . wait a minute, that happened a couple of years ago. Now it seems that the genre is just about dead. This game is one of the many that found its way out during the music-peripheral game's peak, and to tell you the truth its just that; another music game. It has no outstanding features or no exciting new gameplay It simply provides more music for gamers to play on their consoles. For people that still enjoy rockin' out the plastic guitar and feel as though their current collection of playable songs has become stale, this is the game for you. It is especially made for systems like the Wii and PS2 that do not have the capability to download extra songs. Otherwise I would pass this game up. With nothing special to make this game stand out, only the hardest of hardcore music gamers should pick up Rock Band Track Pack Vol 1

A Different VarietyI bought Rock Band the day it was released for the Wii because that is the only video game system I have and I love it. Then I got the Track Pack the day it was released and I was a little dissappointed. First off, the song selection is terrible. Yes, they do have some good songs on there, but the majority of them I don't even know. I mean were those songs really hits? Also, the songs on the Track Pack are way too easy to play. Playing every song for the very first time, I got a 5 star rating on all of them and no less than 97% complete, half of them I got 100%. The hardest song to play is "Gimme Three Steps" and I got a 5 star 99% rating. Don't get me wrong, I love the track pack cause I have more of a song selection to play, I just wish they would have put much better songs and make them a little bit more challenging.
