Nothing compared to real fishingI must first start off my review by saying that no fishing game is anything compared to the great fun of actually fishing for real fish. Compared to other fishing games, this is not good, not a good lake assortment. Also you catch fish way too frequently, proabally this games, biggest mistake. the guy that helps you out is real annoying and gives bad advice. The one good element this game has is that the graphics are good for early wii and that the few lakes they have are very detailed. Here are the only two fishing games I would even consider playing:

MAYBE!!!!!!!!Well ill start from the top was excited to get the game got home and was very easy to pick up and play graphics were not what was expected lots of tackle locations are small you have this big boat but cant really do anything with the fishing is really easy can catch a fish on almost every cast which makes it kinda stupid could beat the whole game in bout 4 hours the action is not accurate like you basically only just real with every lure cant really do the real action it is supposed and its not accurate with the controller. so i guess ill give it a 5 not like the real thing but can suffice if your really bored all in all not bad but needs a lot of work.

Hook Line and StinkerI just got the game because my dad is a real big fisher man himself so actually he bought it but whatever. I like to fish and that is the main reason that we bought this game. The realistic ness is incredible there are many varieties of gear and there are quite a few fish in the game too. I enjoy the game piloting the boat is pretty fun as stupid as that sounds buy a fishing game and drive the boat half the time but I do like how they did most the controls. I do not like how they did the casting however it takes me forever to cast and when I do I cast it I don't know about 10 feet... Not the best cast in recorded history but I can catch pretty good fish somehow when I do it so I really do not care. The graphics are amazing half the time my dad just watches me play and as soon as I pull a fish out of the water bam he knows what it is and I feel dumb cause I got to wait for the game to tell me what I caught. The game is great though I only put a 7 for it because if you are not much into the fishing game then avoid the game it is fun at points but if you get frustrated at really annoying casting controls don't buy it. If you do however enjoy the challenge that comes with actual fishing then chances are you will enjoy this. I really do there are a couple modes but my favorite is the free play kind of mode so I can just fish till I'm bored of it. All in all it is probably the best fishing game I have ever played I mean in all other fishing games I have played I never had to worry about drag or the type of lure usually I can catch any fish that I want on any lure that I feel like using... That is the main reason I like the game I would only suggest it though to people who actually like to get out and fish and they like a challenge.
