The Prince of Persia makes his way home to Babylon, bearing with him Kaileena, the enigmatic Empress of Time, and unspeakable scars from the Island of Time. But instead of the peace he longs for, he finds his kingdom ravaged by war and Kaileena the target of a brutal plot. When she is kidnapped, the Prince tracks her to the Palace – only to see her murdered by a powerful enemy. Her death unleashes the Sands of Time, which strike the Prince and threaten to destroy everything he holds dear. Cast to the streets, hunted as a fugitive, the Prince soon discovers that the Sands have tainted him, too. They have given rise to a deadly Dark Prince, whose spirit gradually possesses him.

Amust have for everyonethis game was a new for me because (1.)I have never watched the movie and (2.) I have never played the games. but when i took it home and played it i instantly fell in love with the series. you perform acrobatics that gold olympic medalists coudnt top. you control the right hand weapon with the wiimote and the left weapon with nunchuk so its like your actually performing, but better.the combos are sick and in one combo you get to steal the other persons weapon while KILLING them! if that doesnt sound exciting to you youre a loser. a must have for everyone, prince of persia fan or not.

It's an o.k. gameTo be honest, this is the only game in the series I have played. It has a decent control scheme, but I found myself "playing the drums" with my wii remote and nunchuck in order to pull off various combos. I also found myself dying more than anything, due to the layouts of some levels. Overall, this game is o.k., but you play it once you're done. (Also I might have already did another review on this game, and if I did you are free to read both *shrugs*)

MORE MOVES! MORE COMBAT! MORE SAND! 2 CHARACTERS!If you have played sands of time or revelations you get the gist of the story. But in Prince of persia Rival swords there is not only a second chapter to the princes consequences, but he also goes through the places that are not just inside a palace (like in "sands of time") and gameplay is far beyond just running around dogging blades and going back in time when you die.... In Rival Swords you play with both the nunchuck and wii remote which allows you to control the prince to do all kinds of moves and sword "left-right" combos which you can master to take town tricky enemies. With different weapons he picks up (swords, axes, clubs, knives) and the interact with the world when fighting sand monsters (running up walls and falling on enemies, jumping off walls and stabbing them, swing around on pillars and slicing them my favorite are speed kills [if you time it right] sometimes they are in slow motion!) Farah is also in the game but actually does something and is much much more helpful and relevant (but of curse you must save her in the end). The variations that are set with every part of the game in combat and multiple ways to get from point A to B (for the more experienced Prince of Persia dweebs there are no unlocks to moves so use you knowledge to find more sand, get more powers and do cooler stuff!). Truly this game is THE one to buy and you will see like I did that there is much more than meets the eye while playing, but find all the secrets in virtual Babylon while you can because there is no turning back after you save the game. Have fun! Don't let the puzzles stump you either (there are quite a few).

Totally sickThis game is a must have for anyone who likes a killing game that isnt just attacking people in a war that you dont know why its going on. the storyline was very good and was the challenge hard at parts. The controls could have been better, because as the dark prince it didnt say what to press in the beginning which it should have. The length was EXTREMELY long and added up to hours and hours of gaming, at least 10 hours. the graphics were good, but on "invisible" enemies u could sort of see them and on the final boss they were not real enough. he looked like he had cancer, but he sure didnt fight like he did. the sound was great because when you got hit you could hear him groan in pain and when you sliced an enemy you could hear the sword going through them. definitly worth buying if u like swordfighting games

could be betterPrince of persia rival swords could be a better, it has some really hard parts that keep the action alive, but the problem is that when your the black prince of persia, your health goes down and you can't reverse the change. So after a few second if you don't get any sand of time, you die. But the way you fight with the Wii remote is really cool. Another thing is in most games, if you have a problem, you use a cheat code. I had problems, used a cheat code from the internet and none of the worked. I was really looking forward to using the chainsaw cheat. It is also cool how you come back from a trip ready to rest, but next thing you know. Your fighting for your life to get your kingdom back and to kill the person who stole it . If you had a chance to by it, it's a good price. but it could be better.

great in every wayI thought this game was great it is my first prince of persia game but sofar I love every minut of it and can't wait to get my hands on another. It looks so cool and is fun to run up the walls and all over the place plus this game also requires you to think fast because if you turn into the sand monster you slowly loose health and must get sand to regain it. But sometimes when you become this you must quickly figure out what to do before you run out of health. Though sometimes you must rashing out sand while you figure out what to do or where to go. The only problem with this game that I can think of is that you'll be lisning to the story as your in the middle of a fight so you cant realy here what they are saying. But other than that the game looks and plays great and I would recomend it to anyone and if you aready like the games than you'll love this one too,
