Pretty coolThe detail of castle and grounds are awesome. Gameplay is pretty cool, could be more difficult though. Not long enough, needs more missions, and could improve on quidditch games. Overall, a pretty good game. Harry Potter fans will be very pleased. Others should pass the game up.

Harry Potter. This is a good Harry Potter game but is way to short. The should have added more content to the game. You will enjoy the features that they did add to the game. Also you will love this game if you are a Harry Potter an like I am. This game is short in gameplay but big on fun.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood PrinceIn the game for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince you play through Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts. this game isnt really hard wich is why i give the challenge a 7. The characters look pretty close to the actors except when they talk they move lik robots a bit. For that i give the graphics a 8. the length i give a 9 because even wen ufinish the storyline, you can still duel either by urself or with a friend in multiplayer mode. You can also brew potions in potions club, play on your broom, or luk for hogwarts crest throughout the school. Collecting crests gives you rewards such as new characters in multiplayer dueling. The storyline i give a 6 cause its short. The controls i give a 10 because the the controls are great espeially in dueling. the interface i give a 10. The sound is pretty good. The music is good but some of the characters' voices sound nothing lik the actors. If u are luking for a game with a challenge i wouldnt reccomened this game. I would recomened it To Harry potter fans who read the books and see the movies.

Only If You're A Fan Of PotterverseThis review might contain spoilers!!! This game can be exciting and boring at different times during the game. When you make potions sometimes the game can drag on a little. But the game picks up during battles/dueling. I would only reccomend this game to Harry Potter fans. The one thing that I dont like is that you can finish the game in less than 24 hours if you know the Wii controls well. (it's the same with all other Harry Potter games) The story line sticks more to the movie (I guess this is why it seems so short!) The game is not really a challenge, in my opinion, once you get the hang of it. The graphics have improved, though! I sometimes am able to see facial expressions on the characters. One other funny thing is that there are themes to go with certain parts of the storyline. Such as when Ron eats the Love-Potion filled chocolates or when Harry drinks Felix Felicis. The replay value on this game is moderate. Once you finish the game completely including all mini-missons then there is not much left to do than run rampant around hogwarts. And replay duels/potions/quidditch. But this is a good game overall and I reccomend it greatly!!!

Harry Potter fans have a great gameHarry Potter and the Half- Blood Prince follows the storyline of the movie which is based on a book. The game dosn't go in depth in the plot because they assume you've seen the movie or read the book. The game itself is faithful to the movie except for the voices of some characters sound nothing like the real actors. The graphics are great and in comparison to the PS3 and 360 version there isn't a huge diffrence. It's also really short, about a five hour game, but that can be a good thing because in a day or two you complete the story and it was almost like you were controlling the movie. The controls are superb and their is no need to have wiimotion plus in the game because it's great without it. The previous potter game for the wii read your movements only half the time, but now this game almost always reads your movements. This is great for the three mini games you take part in the game, Potions, Quidditch, and Dueling. In potions you tilt your wii remote to pour in ingredients and shake the remote to heat the pot. It's fun emmersive and accurate with real potions from the books and movies. The Dueling is the best because its fast responsive and you can duel your friends in two player mode with the characters of the movie. Unfortunately, the AI in duels are easy to beat and have almost no health. Lastly Quidditch, my my my EA is so repetative because the Quidditch is the same as the other Harry Potter games with Quidditch in them. You fly through rings by pointing the wii remote and eventually catch the snitch. Boring, but fun for the first time. I own every potter game and this is one of the best. Hogwarts looks like the school in the movie and is enormous with every classroom, building and statue from the movie. This is a big plus if you haven't played Order of the Phoenix because if you have the castle is almost the same except for the grounds being avaliable and much larger. The camera which usually isn't a big deal in games is much better than the last Potter game, the last game sometimes had you controlling Harry when Harry was about thirty feet away. Now you see Harry's back the whole game and actually feel like your Potter, not some person watching him. If your a Harry Potter fan then game would be great and i'd give it a 7/10, but if your not crazy about the books and movies it would be an average 5/10. Purchase this game if you want to live in the world of Harry Potter, not if you want the story or a fun game to play. If your not a Potter fan but wanna have a potter game, get the chamber of secrets or prisoner of azkaban for the pc or last gen systems which is based on the book and really gives you a great sense of the plot.

Very Entertaining, But Extremely ShortThe Game itself is very good. Casting spells (dueling) and potion making have to be the two most entertaining activities in the game. I played the first three Harry Potter games on PC, which included collecting Beans, Finding hidden rooms etc. and it was not only fun, but it actually took some thinking to complete. This game just doesn't give you that edge. It is extremely straightforward and doesn't take much thought to complete. It took me just 5 hours to finish the whole game (excluding finding all of the shields and completing all extra activities). It would have been better if EA had reverted to their original Harry Potter Game ideas. Nevertheless, I would definitely go out and buy this game, because of the fact that it utilizes the Wii-mote and nunchuck really well, and its entertaining stirring and pouring potions.

A Magical AdventureThis game is fantastic!!!! It was one of the first wii games I had ever played, I have around 250 games in my collection and this would deffinetly make my top 20 favorites. First let's start off with the graphics which are the best I have seen yet for any wii game!!! The music is great too, when I heard the music for the opener int gave me goosebumps!!!! Next, the gameplay which is great too the magic spells look so cool and you do fell like a wizard when you're using the wii remote!! However this is why I had to give the controls a 9 out of 10: sometimes the spells weren't that well received, this did not happen frequently just about 3 or 4 times, like when I cast protego (defense spell) it would whip out expeliamus which left me losing two health dots. Another good thing about this game is Quiditch that made me actually feel like I was actuall flying even if the controls were a little iffy. Another great thing about this game is the exploration, Hogwarts is even bigger than it was in the fifth game!! Don't worry about getting lost you'll learn you're way around chunks of the castle at a time because there are magic barriers blocking some areas at the beginning and by the time you're three hours in you'll have them all unlocked. Next thing I really loved was the story, the Half Blood Prince is my favorite Harry Potter book and movie but the game follows a lot more closely to the book which I really liked. The ONLY thing that I did not like about this game was the length, it took me four hours to beat the game, and I think they should have made it at least 15 hours. The duels in this game are another great addition, my friend and I had a blast with them. All and all I cannot recomend this game highly enough, giving it a solid 9. So get ready to once again board platform 9 3/4 to go to Hogwarts, where anything is possible.

Pretty goodWell i bought this game last week and at first i thought oh no this is terrible! but i decided to play the game out anyways and it turned out to be good, despite the fact that the storyline is short, the overall gameplay is really good. If you dont follow the harry potter series i then you might find it a bit confusing but if you are a harry potter fan then it will be great. Quiditch is not really much of a challenge for those who have a steady hand but all the same a great feature. Now the best part of the game is dueling, with the dueling clubs you have so many different challenges and you have to think when you duel not just cast random spells. With professor slughorn's classes is always fun, it can be a bit confusing at first when you make potions but after you fingure out the basics its really fun. So if you like harry potter, you like great games, I would reccomend you buy it!

It could've been better.I would only suggest purchasing this game if you're a Harry Potter fan. The cut scenes don't explain much, and if you don't know what's going on you'll probably get lost. I've read that many people have had problems with making potions, but I found it to be rather easy, and I love it. Dueling is pretty simple, though I have gotten stuck once or twice. The story line is very short, it definitely could be longer. One of my favorite aspects, though, was how you do spells. For some reason this thrilled me that by flicking the remote up, you make the seat move. I personally didn't like Quidditch all too much. It was too simple, and your hand gets tired if your standing. Nearly Headless Nick's help wasn't necessarily needed, but it did make finding my way to certain areas a lot easy, although it isn't "realistic". I would only recommend the game if your are an absolute fan of the books and movies, or understand the plot. The graphics aren't exactly the best, but if you can over look that, I'd say buy it.

It's backHarry Potter and the Half-Blood Price is a good game. However, it is extremely short. It skips some major things and isn't that challenging. I like the dueling and the fact that you can do it 2 player. Hermione and ron aren't really in the game and that is disappointing for me. Playing quidditch is EXTREMELY easy, all you do it point the wii remote at the screen. It doesn't really follow the book that great, and I wish that they did because it would make the game much longer. If you like Harry Potter and the video-games, then it's not an aweful game to get. The fact that you can call on Nearly-Headless Nick whenever needed isn't all that realistic, but it helps u out. You can't even use the Marauder's Map. I beat the game without unlocking all of the challenge shields or the places on the map. The game was kinda dissappointing to me.

Half-Blood flop?Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince follows the story of Harry Potter, the Chosen one. When I first saw previews for this game I thought it looked a lot like Order of the Phoenix. That remains somewhat true. They got rid of some of the annoying spells, polished up the castle, added new rooms and stuff to the grounds, and added some action, making it a lot more fun. But is it worth it? I think it is, being a huge Harry Potter fan. If you're playing JUST for the game, and you don't follow Harry Potter at all, I would not recomend the game. There are mini games, which are a lot of fun, like brewing potions, and flying around on your brookstick. The only bad thing is the story mode is only about five hours, at most. I finished it in about four myself. But there are 150 Hogwarts crests to find, as well as beating everyone at the certain dueling clubs, and flying and potions clubs. So even after you finish the main adventure you still have a lot to do. It's a fun game for any Potter fan.
