More DetailsLess Details
* Body English: Remember tilting your arms while playing Excitebike to try to make your character land a huge jump? That experience is finally a reality with Excite Truck.
* Controller as a Steering Wheel: Players hold the Wii Remote like an NES controller to control the truck. The 2 button is the accelerator, the 1 button is the brake, the + Control Pad is the turbo... but that's just the beginning. Tilt the Wii Remote controller right and left like a steering wheel to steer. Once the truck goes airborne, tilt the Wii Remote controller every which way to line up the wheels for landing boosts.
* Dynamic Terrain: Pick up items on the courses to make the terrain deform in real time, turning innocent bumps into massive launch pads that affect not only the player's route, but that of his or her rivals. Players jump and bump their way to the highest score and highest finish.

Trucking AwesomeFor a launch Wii game, it holds up surprisingly well. Unless you've played Excitebots, you've probably never played a game quite like this. Unlike most racing games, Excite Truck is not necessarily about getting 1st, but getting enough stars to increase your rank. You increase your rank by placing higher in races, doing stunts, and carving your own path through the sandbox-like tracks. This game is probably best viewed as a toy, rather than something you're going to spend a lot of time on; there isn't much content and the motion controls combined with the ridiculous physics are a little too unpredictable to take too seriously. However, these percieved weaknesses are probably the game's greatest asset. Trucks are flying around at ludicrous speeds, off of ramps and through drifts. Taking riskier paths through trees and trickier landscape can be an incredible rush. Crashes are pretty frequent at first, but always start you off with a boost, so you never feel like you fall too far behind. This is a very silly game that puts fun so far above anything else that it's hard not to like it at least a little.

WAS ExcitingThis was one of the first games to launch with the wii, way back when. But out of zelda and wii sports and rayman. this was the one i binged. And I didnt even own it, Me and my boy would just race and unlock for hours. So when on sale, I said why not? So idk if it was the hype of the wii or the lack of good games at the time, But this game is alittle out dated. If they had updates sure the stiff driving controls & clunky turns could be recitfied. but in this day and age, you can find way better phone games that do the same thing (would love a new one for iphones &androids)

Excite truckIt is good, but crazy hard when you get to gold and platinum. It is almost impossible to beat the game. Graphics are good but there is no storyline and it is really long and never ends At first I loved it but then I really started to hate it. If you want to get this game I suggest you be ready for a challenge. Also multiplayer sucks and it's really hard to unlock cars. Aren't many modes to play on. Overall this game is fun, but eventually gets really hard, so you should really only get a few weeks of fun until you get to the hard parts. If you want to get this game you should really be good at racing games. Gamespot said it was like a demo and it really is since all you do is race it seems as if not a lot was put into making this game. So its fun but not for a while buying this game is a risk.
