Horror-themed stylus tapper! This game is kind of an unofficial take on Sega's "House of the Dead" for the Nintendo DS. But, instead of using a light gun peripheral, you're "blasting" zombies by tapping them with your stylus instead.
Your character wakes up to find his prison cell door open, locates a pistol, and then discovers the entire facility is overrun with the undead. Carnage ensues!
The graphics are fully polygonal and fairly blocky. They're okay, but they won't knock your socks off. The zombies are suitably gory in appearance, although it would have been nice is there was a wider variety of enemy types.
Gameplay is simple. The game is an "on rails" shooter, so you don't have to control the character's movement, which is automatic. You just tap wherever you want to shoot with the stylus, slide your bullets into your ammo clip to reload when you run out of ammunition, and use the d-pad to switch between your weapons. That's all there is to it.
This game is pretty tough though; as I write this, I've only made it through four levels, and one boss, after many attempts. I think it could have been a little easier in general, or at least the developer could have given the option of an easier difficulty setting.
All-in-all, it's a pretty fun horror game, but a bit too hard. If you enjoyed the House of the Dead games, you'll likely enjoy this.

I'd rather kiss a zombie then play this! When I got this game I was expecting a wonderful DS port of "House of the dead". When I finally got around to playing it, I was wrong. First of all the difficulty is much to hard even on easy! And when you fight the first boss, you feel like your fighting the last! In other words VERY VERY HARD. And there is only 1 save slot!! Which means you wanna play it again? RESTART. Oh yeah and speaking of replay value the game delivers anything but replay value. And the bonus unlockables are terrible. The good thing though is that this game involves 3 great things. Zombies, Shooting things, and horror! Get this game at your own risk.

Great storyline, horrible graphics and sound. The storyline is great. Stuck in a prison filled wit zombies, go to a sewer filled with zombies, go to a swamp filled with zombies, then rooftops filled with zombies. The downsides are there are only 3 guns, 2 of which have extremely limited ammo, a pistol with unlimited ammo, and a crowbar. Horrible, blocky graphics, and repetitive sound. Buy Black Ops for Wii, XBOX360, or PS3.

Touch The DeadIt is pretty good but it is SUPER hard without unlocking god mode which is all the weapons and all the ammo. The story is about a guy who wakes up in prison and his cell door is open. He tries to escape and finds zombies everywhere. In the end, you know that some guy was turning people into zombies just to keep him from getting out. So overall its pretty fun, but weird. when you're outside, it's always pitch black outside. The weapons you get are a pistol, shotgun, crow bar, and, my favorite, the machine gun! So that's pretty much it. Even if you start out on the first level, you can still do the last chapter of the game. There are some bonuses, just the intro and end, the credits, and a bunch of artwork. So overall this game is really the only zombie shooter on ds OR psp! it's really your only choice! The graphics aren't great, but what do you expect, it's a ds game!
