So glad I sold this game. Here's why...Think what you will, but there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. They take the world's most popular brain-bender and turn into a nightmare. First thing, do NOT take the difficulty levels for granted, they are HARDER than they are described as. The "Easy" puzzles are actually more like "Intermediate" level. I had such a hard time figuring out some the puzzles. You'd think they'd do a little research on what a Easy Sudoku puzzle is supposed to feel like, like on a copy of the New York Post for example where the "Easy" puzzles are a breeze, and the "Very Hard" ones are actually satisfying brain-benders. On the game, It's downright frustrating and you end up using the hints. I don't know if it's me, but I feel like my intellegence has been insulted by this game. I'm usually good at even solving difficult Sudoku puzzles, but in the game, they ALWAYS leave you in impossible situations whereby you HAVE to use hints, and worse yet, the hints become more sparse as the difficulty ramps up, and the puzzles get more and more frustrating. The soundtrack isn't that great and only distracts you from concentrating on the Sudoku puzzle. The different font styles you unlock asre also too distracting and gaudy. On the other hand, the background graphics aren't half-bad. The unlockables are a complete joke: just more bad fonts and music tracks. By the time I got up to the "Hard" puzzles, I had enough. I never played it again. In fact, I sold it along with a third of my DS library (read: mediocre games) at Gamestop. Now the game is someone else's problem. Good-bye, annoying virtual Sudoku coach, and good riddance. Gosh, if Gamestop.com allowed it, I would've selected under the "This game is perfect for" drop box, "absolutely NOBODY!" I think they should.
