Hmmm......well, it's just like the first 2 Ninja Council games, instead of 3. That's a plus, for sure. The story mode is the first arc of the Shippuden manga/anime. The graphics are what you would expect, from this series. You can play as Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, Neji, and Lee, but you will have to play as other characters, at some points. After you beat a level in story mode, you can replay it in ninja mode, which has you beat it with various limits, like no chakra recovery. You can buy ninjutsu and support characters, with ninja points earned by finishing levels. The only problem I have, is that you can only play as one ninja, per level, the term "support" means your allies pop up for, like 2 seconds, use ninjutsu, and vanish. If you liked the first 2 games, BUY THIS!!! It's totally awesome and one of the best handheld Naruto games, I've ever played.

it was cool but stunk at the same timeninja council 4 was a big change from 3 , it was like the first and second .what i dont like is that you have to play multi player to play as itachi, deidara, kisame, sasori, gaara kankuro, temari, tenten ,and i was looking forward to playing as itachi cause none of my friends have the game ,anyway the storyline was worth it and the secret techniques were amazing ,and the challenge of the levels were awesome .the storymode should have been longer , the sound of the game was a little low , the graphics on the other hand were good for ds games. i wouldnt say this was the best naruto ds game ,but it was a good start for the shippuden storyline but like i said not the best ,you would rather get ninja destiny 2 or path of the ninja, but i do think you should get the game eventualy thats what i think its a good game over all

ODST "Rookie" from
Good gameThis is a good game, but if you played Ninja council 3 and then played this you would probably say "wow, this is one big change." And that's because it is one big change. In Ninja council 3, you have limited space and, most of the time, have limited time to complete your objective. While in ninja council 4, it is like the older ninja council series were you would have to go though a whole level instead of staying in a confined area. The number of characters are reduced from ninja council 3, but that does not make the game less fun. The characters in the game are in their Shippuden garb and have destructive techniques. You start out with a basic technique, but later you can buy new ones in the shop by completing missions in story mode. The game also includes support characters, who can also be bought in the shop, to help you along the way. For example, if Sakura was a support character, you could receive healing anytime you would need it, but you would have to wait for the bar near her to become full before using her healing again. Multiplayer is cool, but you have to buy the characters from the shop in story mode. All in all, this is a good game, so if you like Naruto hand held games, then I suggest for you to buy it.

This game is pure doodooThis is by far the worst ds game ive ever played i mean come on the enemies never fricken stoped so if your guy just stayed in the same place for like five frickin seconds he was probably gonna get attacked by some random evil ninja dudes ive played the other ninja councils and thought hey maybe this would be okay but i was wrong it wasnt okay it was lame the whole u lose chacra thing was dumb too i know thats one of the main parts of the serires and its in other games to but seriously if i walked up a wall or some crap like that and then wanted to use a move i wouldnt be able to cus i just got all of my chacra wasted from that crap and the character selection was prety good ill give that but I dont like also how if im jumpin to a place that im supposed to go to some random ninja pops out i get knocked off the platform and then die from falling thats just lame and finally what i hate the most is when u gotta face some dude in the begining u gotta go through some dumb lvl to fight him like when finally see kakashi after two years he wants u to fight him but u cant fight him right away u have to fight the evil random ninjas who have nuthing to do with the story and u have to go through that meaning less course then when u have like half health u fight him and get ur but kicked and lose a life so with all that said i dont think u should buy this game heck im about to trade it back in to gamestop tomorow its a disgrace to naruto games everywhere.

Kinda dissapointing...The long awaited Naruto Ninja Council 4 came out, and I bought it the first day it came out. The number of playable characters dissapointed me but the different selections of characters I was able to choose from was better. The dub over was really...horrible. I hated the dubbing and the voice for Sakura was just...well, unnatural for her. The controls were ok not great but good enough. The game was a bit easy so not much ofa challenge. The graphics however, were much much better in this game. The pictures were more crisp and so. Most of the special moves were great but some moves were just re used. :( The storyline was following the beggining arc of Naruto Shippuuden so its ok. Not higly reccomended to hardcore Naruto fans. If you want to find a great Naruto game, look for one of the Ps2 or Wii ones. They are much better in graphics, sound, and game experience.
