An evil witch turns Dream Land into a picture world, and when Kirby confronts her, she uses her magic to turn him into a ball! Luckily, he finds a magic paintbrush she left behind, and uses it to turn the DS stylus into a magic item capable of drawing rainbow paths. Kirby then sets out to regain his shape and save Dream Land. Your DS stylus has been magically infused with the power to paint! It's up to you to draw paths and stun enemies as you guide Kirby through an adventure spanning seven massive worlds!
More DetailsLess Details
* Get rolling! Kirby's been turned into a ball, so your rainbow paths are the only way he can find power-ups and reach the gates of each world. Draw loops to make him speed up, make ramps to jump danger, and draw walls to block laser beams and cannon blasts!
* Be a copycat! Touch enemies to stun them, then tap Kirby to dash into them and copy their abilities. Turn into Wheel Kirby, Fire Kirby, Stone Kirby, and many more!
* More modes than you can swallow! Try tough challenges in all seven worlds, take on bosses in unique battles, or play mini-games.

It's alrightAs much as I love Kirby, Canvas Curse isn't the greatest game in the franchise, it's kind of tricky since you can only use the stylus to move and not the control pad/buttons. Would I recommend this to a friend? Not this game in particular, probably a different Kirby game like Squeak Squad.

very hard, but still awesome!Kirby Canvas Curse is a great game!! It is one of my fav games for my Nintendo DS and i loved it! You really need to get this game, and here are the reasons why... GAMEPLAY: I rated it 8/10 becuase this game is quite different then other Kirby games. You have to use your DS pen to control Kirby, since he's a ball. This can get hard to get used to if you've had played other Kirby games that has normal button controls (expept mass attack) But if you had never played a Kirby game, then i guess you'll be okay with the controls in this game.i had some trouble using a DS pen to conrol Kirby at first. But after a couple of levels, the controls are not that bad.1 of my favorite things about the game is that you can touch a bad-guy and it well get stunned. But what i hated the most is that you can not suck up bad-guys like you can in other Kirby games. You still can use powers in the game and use them to fight, like fire, wheel, spark, etc. but eating up people was what i liked about Kirby.don't get me wrong, this game is still great. Not only that Kirby can not eat things in the game, since he is a ball he can not walk or fly,So you use a magic paint brush (or DS pen) to draw rainbow lines do he can roll on them to safely get away from danger.Plus, get to draw lines to block things away from Kirby. You can also tap Kirby to make him roll and dash into baddies. All and All , if Kirby got to suck things up in the game, It would'nt had been perfect gameplay. GRAPHICS: The graphics in this game are very good for a DS game. the characters look smooth, and the level design is AMAZING! since in the game, Kirby's world has been turned into paint by a evil witch. So basicly, almost everything in the game is a huge painting. So i loved how when you play a level, the background looks like a real painting! so the graphics in the game has to be a perfect 10/10 if you ask me. SOUND: 10/10 because the music in the levels match perfectly with how the game is. Some of the tracks of this game are so good that they REALLY get stuck in my head.Serisouly, you have to get the game to see what i mean about how good the sound is in the game.Like, every single level has a different song which keeps it interesting. All i got to say is, the music is great! LASTING APPEAL: This game well probably last you quite a while to complete since the levels are pretty long. There are 8 worlds with 3 levels in 7 of them. For some reason, world 8 has only one level.there's also boss fights in the game but the bosses are set out in a different way. When you beat the first level, there are 3 different bosses you can choose to fight. As you continue to play the game the bosses you well choose well get harder. In world 8, the final boss is the evil witch named drawcula that turned Kirby into a ball. The challenge in this game is well-balanced.It starts of very easy and then gets CRAZY HARD. really, like in the first few levels, it is easy, levels 5 and 6 start to get serious, level 7 is CRAZY HARD!! and the final boss well make your head explode. The storyline makes sense. Kirby was taking a walk in Dreamland when a evil witch named drawcula appears and starts tuning his world into a painting.Kirby tries to stop her but she casted a curse on him and turned him into a ball! Drawcula left, leaving her magic paint brush wich then Kirby uses to help him stop Drawcula. In the game, after you finally beat Drawcula,You can now use a new ball character called waddle-dee, Wich what i liked about the came cause it makes it more longer to beat. There is actually more characters you can unlock for the game. So beating this well take a while.Like i said, you really should get this game.If you'll play it, you'll see what i mean.

The game that sparked my Kirby addiction!I love this game. I have played it through three times.... I still enjoy unlocking everything!!! It is a must have for the DS gamer. It uses the touch screen all the way through really smoothly (you have to remember though.. you can run out of ink! and it starts to disappear after a while!) IT IS SOOOO GOOD!

kirby canvas curse reviewI have had kirby canvas curse for about a year and It still has not sparked my interest yet. I thought I was just not a touchscreen guy, but mass attack was great ( my next review). I do not understand why experts like the game so much. The storyline is bad, no surprise,. The gameplay is all touchscreen which may make some of you shrivel but it does work nice. The only problem is that it doesn't work sometimes. Besides the paintbrush, the powerups are bad and are a pain to use. The boss fights are hard and repetitive and the game is just too long. Hey dont get me wrong I am a huge kirby fan but this was just a let down. Especially for the rareity. No wonder why there is only two other reviews because they were the only ones who liked and everyone is just afraid to review it for too many thumbs down, but anyone who gives this below a 7 will be getting thumbs up from me. GET MASS ATTACK OVER THIS. MASS ATTACK WORKS BETTER WITH THE TOUCH SCREEN THAN THIS.
