Rated 4 out of 5 by Beoza from Decent Mana game Has a bit of a learning curve at the beginning. Similar to other Secret of Mana games. I haven't played very much of the game but I do like the old school 16-bit feel to the game.

Loved the story and the newer rpg feel the quests and map gave. Highly replayable with 4 different characters!

However, I was only able to play this game for a few days before I became bored with it. The game play is not bad, the graphics are so-so and it is good for killing time. This is clearly not a game people such as myself would be able to sit and play to the end. It's plot doesn't capture my attention and that is the key to keeping me involved with the game play. If this game had a better plot it would be considerably easier to play.

In Children of Mana you choose one of four characters each with there own unique stats. You then travel all over the land doing quests leveling up and collecting many different weapons and gems along the way. There are also many boss fights that aren't to difficult they are actually some what enjoyable. Its a great RPG on the DS and at $7 dollars it is a must play. It is guaranted to keep you entertained for endless hours.
