More than 60 exciting single player missions.
Within Story Mode, players can play through an additional 38 Trial stages. Although independent of the Story Mode, the Trial stages add much to the game play challenge and depth.
New strategies also emerge by way of the Command Zone. For the first time, a Commanding Officer can enter one of the units, and by doing this, he or she creates a Command Zone.
Create your own maps and share them with your friends or upload them to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Old Gaming fan from
the Best advance warsI'm a big fan of advance wars and Days of ruin is the best one yet I love the darker setting and the serious storyline I love the characters story and gameplay Although online mode is shut down there's still lots of amazing single player content including the amazing campaign and free battle mode where you can choose Co's battle conditions and maps the map designer is back and you can use created maps in free battle mode so overall the replay value is still Amazing like all advance wars games days of ruin is a game I'll be playing over and over again for years to come Now please Nintendo make another advance wars preferably a days of ruin sequel Highly recommended

Fun Strategy War GameI really enjoyed this for its game play. A well balanced strategy game that is challenging and rewarding at the same time. I can do with the main character of the story but he is easy to ignore.

Did not WorkI bought this as a gift for my cousin but when i got it the card refused to load. i tried to clean the contacts but it did not help (not that they appered dirty or in poor order) took it to my local gamestop but they would not exchange it without an order slip that was supposed to have come with it, so much for the guarante that the pre-owned games will work or be replaced. I have this game in my collection already an would recommend my dissatisfaction is with gamestop sending me a copy that does not work and not the game its self

StrategyThis game is just a straight strategy game. Your units only level up in battle and it resets after every battle. Every move that you make has to be thoroughly thought out before you act because everything matters.

Chapter 20, the franchise breaker.I'm sure I'll get quite the number of people on here that tell me I suck at this game, whatevs. Chapter 20, the one and only chapter that I cannot get through, and I've tried everything. I even had to resort to using a walkthrough to try and just get past this behemoth of garbage! Nothing works. It's almost like they're not making anymore and the last insult they can bestow is a battle that's completely in the computer's favor. I would highly recommend the game, until this point. I'd rather run backwards naked through a field of raw hotdogs (for lack of being able to use a more inappropriate term) than ever pop this cartridge in my DS ever again.

Great gaming but doesnt hold value..Great gameplay great multiplayer and over great game but i wish it held its value from buying it for 15 dollars to going to 8 dollars personally the only thing i dont like is that: in order to download maps you need wifi. and that it doesnt hold its value over the time :l over all i give this a 9/10

Best Strategy game for NDSThis is an EXCELLENT title for the NDS. It has a great storyline. You must lead your Ragtag army through Apocalyptic wastelands and survive. It has heart stopping moments as well as humorous funny scenes. It has great graphics for such portable. It has great turn-based gaming system. It took me like a month and a half to complete it. It has a variety of new characters such as Will, Brenner, Caulder, Isabella, Forsyth, and many more. Advance Wars, Advance Wars Dual Strike and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising are nothing, I'm telling you, nothing compared to Advance Wars Days of Ruin. Its awesome!!!
