4 to 6 weeks on warrantyIts a decent game for the price. Had issues with the rotating button and talked with techs. The problem is shipping of the part to fix it- 4 to 6 weeks they say. Thought it would be before that. I was wrong. 3.5 weeks so far and no part. Should have taken game back.

Great value. Very nostalgic. The graphics and sounds are exactly as I remember. Easy to put together. Pretty good price point. I love that you get four games in all. The build quality is pretty good for this low price point. The buttons and spinning wheel could be a little better quality but right in line for this price point.

Good But,Got this today. Bought it when I caught it on sale for 150. The screen has a single blue line right down the right side just off center. The spinner and the buttons are cheap. In contrast, I have the Rampage cabinet as well and the buttons and sticks are better quality than Asteroids. For 150, it's worth it to me to add to my collection but at 200 or 300, run away. I will eventually replace the spinner and buttons.

Almost.I bought this on 12/21 and when putting together noticed there was a big orange sticker on the wrong side of the monitor cover that was not on the film side that you can remove from the monitor cover. Suffice it to say...the monitor cover is unusable and cannot reach customer service for arcade1up. Spent two hours on hold one day with no answer. the game olays well, but have been left with a sour taste.

Great concept BAD controlsI received my Asteroids Arcade 1up on Monday. I was excited to get this package since I once held several world records on both Asteroids and tempest. They used the later sped up version of Asteroids, it's not the original slow play program. Although this is fine for me being a professional player it may be more difficult for others. The cabinet graphics, screen and controls are almost identical to the original arcade game when it comes to Asteroids, but that's where the good ends. Tempest graphics and sounds are awesome and reminds me of the original game back in the 80's, but when you go to play the game it's all downhill from that point on. The spinner control does NOT spin, period! You can turn the knob but it's very gritty and clicks, it's not a smooth spin at all. Makes the game almost unplayable. This also ruins Major Havoc. You can get through the easier boards using the button controls but using the spinner makes the game very difficult. I would love to give this game 5 stars but can't until the bad spinner issue is resolved.

Great nostalgic arcade fun!Good price, assembly required but fairly simple. Once you are done it’s game on 1980’s style!

Terrific classics and classic lookThis has the looks of the classic game (pixelated). The original games used vector graphics which require a bulky CRT type monitor and this uses a flatscreen LCD. The sounds and gameplay are authentic, controls are just like an arcade game, and its style and looks make it appear to be a scaled down genuine arcade game cabinet. This is a terrific value, as actual arcade games are much heavier, consume a lot more power, and cost over $2000 new.
Hi; does this come with the riser for the base? Thank you.
Asked by: PeterFeter
No. There is a deluxe model that comes with the riser but this model does not. When the riser is included, it clearly states it on the box.

Has the spinner issue been addressed and resolved? I don’t want to spend money on a game that’s not going to play properly.
Asked by: Dodgerman5150
As of the 2018 model the spinner is still low quality, they have said that the 2019 model will be improved - HOWEVER - on the cabinet I bought the spinner works just fine, it might feel a little cheesy but it plays the games it's meant to without issue.

I'm curious about the spinner for Tempest. I see in one review that it doesn't actually spin, but other reviews don't mention this. I would but this cabinet basically only for Tempest. How do others find how well that spinner works for the game?
Asked by: Prethen
It doesn't spin freely, rather it's like an old style channel changer from a 1960's television, it clicks as you turn it, and needs a small amount of effort to move from click to click. No way is it like a spinner toy or free-turning.

Question for the community. It’s possible to add many 80s, 90’s era arcade games on a small chip. I’d love to invest, work on a cabinet like this. Pay to add each game. Would need a mechanical engineer for controls. Message too short. Reply

Does this game have more than just asteroids to play?
Asked by: Meechie49
4 Games on a menu when you start or reset the unit: Asteroids, Major Havoc (sort of a platformer game), Lunar Lander and Tempest. All these games used to be displayed on special CRT units as "vector graphics" but are pixelated since the flat screen in this unit is a standard LCD type as is used with computers.
