I bought this game on a whim and have not put it down since I bought it. While the story of the game is geared more towards a younger audience, I found the script witty and appealing. There are many hidden jokes in the dialogue that make the cut scenes worth watching and listening to. There are also some dialogue things that are not so the-funny but you'll learn to live with them (You'll understand when you play it).
The game play feels like a mixture of the classic final fantasy battle sequences and abilities with Pokemon-style training and leveling progression. While this game is seems simple and easy at the beginning, but will quickly pick up going into major bosses in the game. Your mirages' leveling trees are not automatically determined. You can pick and choose to a certain extent what abilities you want each specific Mirage to learn. I have noticed, not often, but there are some lag issues you'll encounter every once in a while. They are minor enough that you won't notice them all that often.
Overall, this game offers a great gaming experience as well as DLC available from the Playstation Store to add more late-game content. This game has a lot of replay value as well. Easily a 10/10 game on the PS Vita.
