This game is definitely a refresher after the failure of Wheelie Breakers but this is not mush better. It definitely is all about dueling but it's lacking major elements that the DS games have and improvements that the Wii should include: there is no monster combat (other than the major one from the 5d's series), you see the characters but it's just words on a screen (no voices), in a duel, you see the characters take damage but the combat from the monsters (which are still not shown) is based only on their attribute, not carried weapon, power, etc., player movement in the story is like that on a gameboard: rolling a dice (a roulette in this) and moving the spaces you rolled, deck names have to be super short, even though the computers have longer names for their decks, and you're only given a few set avatars to choose from in the beginning, rather than choose the face, hair, outfit, etc. yourself like in the DS games. The only upsides are: the epic showings of the popular monsters from the 5d's series, the damage the characters take (both of which have great graphics), and the fact that this game focuses on dueling. Overall, the cons majorly outweigh the pros. This'll keep a kid satisfid for a while but it will be a dissapointment to hardcore Yu-Gi-Oh! players. Save your money and hope Konami comes out with something better in the future.
