I've always loved Nerf blasters, I don't know why but there's just something appealing about those little plastic guns that shoot foam darts. Anyways, to the game, it's fun but not for everyone. Hardcore Nerf fans will almost definitely love it. Each game has a full arsenal of real-life Nerf guns. This is a bundle that comes with two Nerf games , N-Strike and its sequel N-Strike Elite, both on one disc. The best part, it comes with a blaster. This blaster is 2-in-1, it holds the Wiimote for gameplay, but if you're not playing, you can switch the Wiimote for a dart shooter and use the gun as a real Nerf gun! It's not cheap either, it's actually legit Nerf tech and it has pretty good shooting range and comes with three darts(there's a holder for the two darts you're not using). It's single shot and very lightweight. Now on to the games! Now, if you're looking for mind blowing graphics...well let's just say you won't find them in these games. Although, I prefer the style of the first game, the cutscenes play as if in a comic book and the levels look pretty cool in my opinion. Essentially, in the first game, you go through different missions, five for each chamber. Each chamber belongs to one of the Elite and the goal of to missions is to win while at the same time beating their score. The gameplay is really fun and you have a variety of guns to choose from for missions that don't require specific ones. There are many types of missions, from non-stop waves of enemies coming at you to sniping robots to shooting boxes off a center platform, they're all pretty fun. During missions your character will move around, you can't control him, he just goes as the level goes. There are some on-rail levels and overall there's a little variety in missions to keep them from getting boring. In the second game, the Elites come back to go on an adventure. This whole game plays out differently, no more missions, and the whole game is on-rail. You progress through the levels, shooting robots(and other things) and racking up points. In this one, you have four characters you can play as, each with different blasters. You can unlock more blasters for each character by using the Red Scope(an attachment that comes packaged with the gun) to find special codes in game. You can also customize these guns with different colors and accessories such as Scopes and different kinds of ammo. You unlock these accessories by using canisters(the other things you'll be shooting in game). These are scattered in various places throughout the level and aren't too hard to find. The story is connected for both games, but the main focus is obviously the gameplay. This game would be perfect for young kids or teenagers(especially ones who like Nerf) and even adults if they're into it. It supports multiplayer so you can even enjoy blasting with other people. Overall you get two fun games plus a pretty cool blaster. I'd say it's worth the money.
