I loved this game all around, aside from three big issues: The lighting, the drastic change in Speedbreaker (handling was nowhere as free as it was in Most Wanted and Carbon), and the car unlock times. The lighting was far more irritating mainly because it was "enhanced" when Speedbreaker is active. The "speedbreaker lighting" is the level of lighting that should have been used so I didn't have to take a guess as to where the spikes were in a roadblock. Okay, enough ranting on the lighting level. I bought the game back in 2009 and was astounded by it. I loved every aspect of it, especially the police chases. Some of the "jobs" were a bit unnecessary, but hey, I got good cash out of them. I was annoyed overall by how the cars were unlocked, because it was inconsistent with any and all cutscenes, and there was no way of knowing new cars had been unlocked unless you checked. However, I tend to finish the game out with only four purchased cars; one specially for pursuits, the other three just being there. I also loved that we could do minimalist police work and earn some cash for that. Overall, I would buy the game, but only for Wii. The PC version was terrible for me.
