Bad Disk

I purchased this pre-owned and it will not run. The game says "disk error". Very sad about this. I wish gamestop checked their pre-owned games before selling them.

Addicting!

I'm not a video game kind of person, by husband bought this for me and I am so addicted to it! I plat it everyday, usually against the computer at the hardest level. I win most games but the computer really puts up a fight. It is so easy to understand how to play, my 6 year old grandson plays with me and gets it. So much fun and for me, a great way to decompress after work.

I bought this and took it back the very next day! Absolutely boring, hard to understand what you're supposed to do! The actual Monopoly is much better.

Not worth the money

This game is a slow paced game, only slightly faster than the actual board game. PROS: 1. You don't have to deal with the cards or money. 2. Nobody can knock into the board and accidentally (or purposefully) move all of your hotels and houses around. CONS: 1. Slow game play - you cannot push past the animations; you have to watch everything that goes on with the screen each and every play. 2. Even on easy, the computer is incredibly hard to beat with one player. The computer players get impossible odds on their dice rolls and the cards they pick up - this was evident after playing a 2 hour game and losing to the computer which owned only one Monopoly. 4. Controls - You have to have one remote for every player, make sure to have one remote for every player. You cannot just press A to continue, you have to aim the remote at the screen and click an OK button multiple times. It's minor, but gets frustrating when your remote is dying from hours of time trying to beat the computer players. 5. Animations - There's really nothing that draws you in to play the video game instead of the board game. It moves by jumping from space to space, just like you would on a board game, and that's about the most of it. CONCLUSION - This is a slow paced game and good if you've got 4 people to play and have time to kill. Having the computer managing the money and properties is the about the only reason to play this game over the actual board game. If you have the board game already, don't buy this game.
