Product Description

The Mario Power Tennis™ game combines the Mario™ elements players know and love with fast-paced tennis action. Players simply use the Wii Remote™ controller to hit forehands and backhands and to apply spin, or show off even more skills by using a Nunchuk™ controller. Choose from more than 15 characters, including Luigi™, Princess Peach™, Daisy™, Yoshi™ or Mario™ himself, and make use of supercharged Power Shots to fend off opponents. Players can show off their skills in traditional tennis tournaments, or head to the Gimmick Courts to encounter a variety of crazy challenges and hilarious mini games. In addition, up to 4 players can play at the same time, making Mario Power Tennis the perfect way to serve up fun (additional accessories required; sold separately).
  • Choose from over 15 characters, including Mario™, Luigi™, Princess Peach™, Daisy™, and Yoshi™.
  • Swing the Wii Remote™ controller to hit forehands and backhands and to apply spin.
  • Use supercharged Power Shots to send opponents reeling or return out-of-reach balls.
  • Intense multiplayer action for up to 4 players (additional accessories required; sold separately).

Get Wii Sports

This is the kind of game you expected to be released on the Wii. A completely motion controlled Mario Tennis game. Quite frankly I wish they had waited for the Motion Plus upgrade for the Wii-mote because it's pretty sloppy. The biggest issue with this game is how little there is to do, you start off with nearly everything unlocked and no "story mode". Playing this game really makes you feel like it was a rushed title just to get another Wii tennis game on the market.
