Good but 2009 is better

in this game the gameplay is very good but you can't custom as much as the 2009 version. I would recommend this to gamers who love the game of baseball.

Little League At Its Fineset

If your expecting a baseball similar to wii sports baseball then you may have met your match...or close to it. Little League Baseball has almost all the similarities to wii sports except for a few. Lets break it down. Batting: Batting is pretty much the same except your batting motion isn't constant, the batter in LLWS stays stiff and you can't check your swing, any motion of the remote will cause the batter to swing. LLWS has a contact and a power swing, the harder your swing the more power, the less harder you swing the more contact you will get, this is good for batters that don't have much power and can get you those nice singles up the middle. Pitching: Pitching takes awhile to get used to, I recommend going through the training for this as the type of pitches you can throw are hard to master. You have the option of a Sinking Fastball, Slider, 2-seam, 4 seam, change up, and a curve ball. The only flaw I find is that if its not a 2 seam or 4 seam fastball its hard to get the pitch you want. Also locating your pitches is a little tricky and most of the time are never acurate (If your trying to do inside/outside pitches). I found doing a 4 seam fastball high in the strike zone gets the batters to chase every time. Fielding: Fielding is so simply, the fielders track the ball themselves and you can make them dive for a ball and you also control where the ball will go. The only thing I don't like about fielding is when you go to throw someone out and its a close play, 99% of the time the runner is always safe. The worst case is for plays at home as the game has an unrealistic flaw of a player jumping over the catcher and scoring. The game does have some arcade action, as you gain points for hits, k's, runs, BB's, during world series mode you create a star player, this player has the option to cash in on the points and once your points meter is filled up, you press A+B together and you are guranteed a lock to hit a Home Run, the same works for pitching as your player will now be throwing 100mph fastballs. Conclusion: Besides the unrealistic features on using your Star Power the game is solid, the game has 4 game modes to keep you going on difficulty and you simply can't put the game down. If your like me your forearms will be sore as I enjoy playing the game as if I was swinging a baseball or pitching a baseball.
