I tested it out and I spent more time customizing and trying to navigate than learning. I was looking for a game that was focused on learning... This ended up being more about learning how to play a game. Maybe after 20 hrs kids might learn something, but I don't want my kids having to get 20hrs of screen time to learn the ABC that are covered in a 45min leapfrog video.

Bought this game for my grandson.He loved playing this game. It great for him to learn numbers and letters.

i love this game its great for kids and also adults. i even played the campaign and enjoyed it. I even learned something new from it that i forgot from my childhood. it teaches that 1 plus 5 equals 7 and other great things. i hily recamend this game to childen who want to learn.

Games are easy enough but getting to them is the challange. Hard to navigate! I have to get the games going for my yougest. The controls are a little difficult as well. I have to point the remote for my child to often. I enjoy playing games with her but no FOR her. It also TAKES TO LONG to load between selections. I think the sports and Mario games are easier if I have to navigate setup for her anyway. My 6 year old has no trouble but she shows little interest as well. All in all I would choose something you want to play that is appropriate for children and play that with them. This game is not fun for adults too. We have a much better time playing the Wii sports and Mario games. I would leave the learning to the old school, BOOKS and hands on. Plus there are free games like this online. I am taking it back.

Picked up a copy of Pet Rescue the other day. We have been a JumpStart family for years, and was excited to see a Wii title by JumpStart. My 4 year old (boy) and 6 year old (girl) both really enjoy the game (albeit for different reasons). My son love the slide and exploring around the different areas while my daughter has taken on the missions of freeing the pets and bathing them, etc. While it took a few minutes for my son to get the hang of the controls, he mastered the wii remote in no time. There seems to be a lot of things for the kids to do which keeps them busy. Hopefully future games will be multi-player, but this is certainly an excellent game for the kids (just have to get them to stop fighting over who is going to play)! Overall, I would recommend this product for any family that has children and are looking for a game that is both fun and offers the benefit of some educational elements.
