My 5 y.o. loves it!

Very good, basic game that small children should have no problem picking up quickly. This one happens to be a good 2d platformer with extras for them to learn after they have mastered the basics.

Perfect Wii Game for Preschool Age Children!
Our 3 and a half year old absolutely loves this video game. It only took him 20 minutes to pick up the controls of the game. Since the game only uses the Wiimote, it's a lot simpler for a child his age to pick up the controls as well. We also had his almost 5 year old cousin over for a weekend and he too loved this game due to the simple controls. Luckily, there are a few side games that two people can play against each other, therefore we did not have any arguments between the two. I did a lot of research online for games best suited for this age range. Of course there are a few out there that will keep preschool aged children engaged for a short while, but this game allowed our child to play for an hour or so without very little adult help. The very few spots early in the game while he was getting used to the controls, we were able to step in with the use of a second Wiimote to help the child get through the obstacle easier. I would highly recommend this game to any parent frustrated at the lack of games easily playable by preschool children.
