My parents aren't gamers, but a few years back they decided to get a Wii (in an attempt to relate to their adult gamer children on the holidays). The plus side is that my 4 year old son is now starting to play some games. My mom got the Diego Dino game for him specifically. Sometimes these Wii games are hit or miss. They can be too involved trying to imitate a kinnect, which just doesn't work, or they are just a glorified DS. This game was made for kids and made for the Wii. It immediately hooked my kid with the overall plot, but then through in additional tasks to follow. The most basic controls are all the same, but mixed up with slightly different movements and icons on the screen. It is kid friendly and doesn't let the kids fail. They have to learn basic functions and slight problem solving, but some aspects are there just for fun. I wouldn't get this if you are super into "learning." But if you want to have fun watching your kid explore and branch out on their own it is a great game. It reminds me of the good old Donkey Kong games. Love it. Con: The graphics aren't great...if you are comparing them to other console games. But perfect for kids and easy to follow.
yes: I recommend this product
