Product Description

Three years have passed since the great war that ended in the death of Mad King Ashnard. His country of Daein suffers under the rule of the war's victors. Now, a small band of freedom fighters struggle to end the long, dark night of Daein's oppression. Micaiah, Sothe and a host of others, the infamous Dawn Brigade, rally under the banner of Daein's long-lost prince to bring a new day to this ravaged land.
Three years have passed since the Daein-Crimea war, where the mercenary Ike led the Crimean army to defeat Daein's mad King Ashnard. Both Daein and Crimea are still stabilizing after that war. Daein is ruled by the Begnion occupation forces, after Crimea relinquished rule over their defeated country, and they are oppressed by the imperial soldiers. In the first of the game's four parts, a group of chivalrous thieves, which includes fortune-teller Micaiah, fight Begnion's oppression and attempt to liberate Daein and bring back power to the royal family. The efforts of the Dawn Brigade are the beginning of a much larger conflict. In the next part, Crimea's Queen Elincia fights against conspiring nobles, who plot to overthrow her. The following part sees the Greil mercenaries assist the united Laguz army as they go to war with the Begnion Empire. The consequences of this war can be seen in the fourth and final part, where the Dawn Brigade and the Greil mercenaries join forces to defeat the Begnion senate and the threatening goddess of chaos high above at the Guiding Tower.

The game is great. Disc is in good condition very few scratches. My only problem is that it came in a generic gamestop game box. I would prefer the original box and game art if it came with the original manuel that would be great too.

Rare gem from when Fire Emblem was on its way out in the west. Not many people like this style or Path of Radience but if you can stomach the price there is a great game to be found.

Overall a good game. The game forced you to play characters that were complete trash though.

Get prepared for Three Houses

With Switch getting Fire Emblem Three Houses, it might be good to go back to the last FE games that were on console---which would be path of Radiance, and this radiant Dawn. See how they compare, and what new things were added.

Great time to play Fire Emblem on the big TV before Three Kingdoms arrive. I started playing the series with Awakening, but have been going back to play as many older titles as possible.

Classic Strategy JRPG

FYI, I only have about 5 hours into to game when this was written, but I have played multiple Fire Emblem games in the past, so I am not new to this series. So far, this is definitely a classic Fire Emblem experience, which is good. If you enjoyed other Fire Emblem games or other strategy JRPGs, like Shining Force, you will not be disappointed. This is the only series (that I know of) that represent the old school strategy JRPG mechanics and I am so appreciative of that. It's still really expensive for a Wii game, but it's totally worth a play through if you can afford it. Great game to spend you power points on!

I love this game and I have beaten it already and want to play again. It is so addictive! It does take some time to play, ex specially if you don't have the time to sit down and play all day but it is definitely worth it.
