So I brought this game yesterday day to see how it was and it's an alright game. What could have been better was we could color our own cars and customize it how ever we want. My opinion don't buy it

This game was good,but lasting appeal is not.The graphics were ok,but could've been better.The gameplay was good,and the races were challenging.The choice of cars was good,and the ability to switch levels of driving aids was also good.The drift video of ken block was also a unique feature.Overall the creators made a good game,but should put more thought into the next one.There are almost no customizing options which rots.I enjoyed the game,but haven't played it in a while,because once you beat it it isn't challenging anymore,but the extra minigame type challenges add lasting appeal.This is a good game for wii,but I would think it over before you buy it.

Dirt 2 is the BIGGEST LET DOWN of a racing game ive ever owned! I originally play the game on a friends 360 and fell in love with it instantly and went strait to Gamestop to pick up a copy for Wii. I got home and within 15 seconds of starting the game up realized that this was not even remotely the same game. The graphics are horrific, the engine sounds the cars make get annoying after the first race and it feels like a cheap 75 cent racer that you would find in your local arcade. i USED to expect that if games that crossed consoles while maintaining the same title that it would be the same game, however Dirt 2 on Wii takes the cake for video game rip offs! I highly advise that you stay as far away from Dirt 2 for the Wii as possible! Trust me the 360 version of Dirt 2 is drastically different and better in every way.

is a good game, the graphics look like N64, good for the price. it's fun. could be better, but i guess because is for the Wii, the couldn't add some features to it. the main menu it's an old style menu, believe me it's like a N64 game. but still fun to play, the sound is good, it's easy to control the cars, not so realistic. cars should be customizable, but no you just can change the skin on them and that's it, well let's keep playing and sell it back few weeks later. expected more from this game, but again it's for Wii. waiting for my x360 console to arrive and try this game, a friend of mine told me the graphics are amazing. don't expect an amazing game but a fun racing game, could be a lot better. hope nintendo's next console to have better graphics and of course hdmi output.

The Bad: The Wii graphics are not the ones shown on the screen-shots, just not cool IMHO. They are much more scaled down. Game stop should enforce a policy for game makers to show real product is for each specific game platform (not just the hires ones). Then the cars always seems to handle like its driving on ice. The tracks have very narrow paths and silly little stones cant stop you dead or flip you not matter what vehicle your in. I don't think small stones stop the Baja Class Sandrails as they race through the desert. There are tiny little fences and holes to get stuck in everywhere. This gets frustrating fast and it doesn't reset you... even on rollovers. It will let you stay on your roof for a good 10 seconds and then slowly roll your car over. By then all other racers are long gone. They could have done more with interaction into the scenery around the track... why make it a narrow track... and not let you go off the road more? If you do run off track in this game to far, it just fades to white and your placed in center of track. The Good: Simple controls and works with Wii Steering wheel. The damage shown on car as it gets abused is nice but I would like even more. The tracks are nice as well as scenery around the raceways. The sounds are good from music to engine and shocks bottoming out. I like being able to use the different body kits... but would been nice to expand on that moreso. Conclusion: This game is just not same level of game as some out there like, Excite Truck (or Excite Bots), Need for Speed or Monster Truck Jam. These games have very nice well thought out controls, environments, and specific game platform features. Everything from the tracks, cars/trucks (and mods), controls and handling seem more planned in these games, or at least way more polished. I would say to buy it used and if you have a Game stop card... you got 7 days to return it. I on the other hand bought it new based on video and screen-shots on this website that were not even for the Wii. Lesson learned, although Game stop should find a way to enforce the game maker to upload each game platforms specific screen-shots.

Ok, Dirt 2. Well the game isn't so bad racing wise. It fun, and semi challenging because of the type of the off-road racing aspect of the game. The games graphics are mediocre but thats expected from a Wii game. There are only a hand full of cars to use and they cannot be customized. You can use multiple styles of certain cars but you cannot customize them yourself. For example, after you beat the "Clubman" part of the game you ca choose between the Ken Block #43 Subaru or the "Slime" Subaru, or the Lancer Evo. Racing is pretty fun and so is drifting. The sound quality is pretty good. The game also has realistic car damage and effect (such as dirt accumulation on your car). When it comes to your surroundings and thier graphics, the Wii gets the short end of the stick as well. They are mainly 2D and static. When I say surroundings I mean the bushes, cacti, rocks, people, etc. The game is fun to play but dissappointing in the graphics department.
