This title provides three different kinds of games for you tickle your brain with: Sudoku, crossword puzzles, and solitaire card games (10 different ones: Klondike, Pyramid, Scorpion, Penguin, Freecell, Canfield, Yukon, Monte Carlo, Accordian, and Golf). Even if you don't know how to play all of those, in-game tutorials/hints and multiple difficulty settings will quickly get you up to speed and keep you from getting too frustrated.
For crosswords and sudoku, the game supports both keyboard/number pad input and drawing the letters/digits freehand with the stylus. I prefer just tapping the letter and number keys myself, as it's arguably quicker and more efficient (and you don't have to worry about the touch screen misinterpreting what you're trying to write) but, it's great that the developers were thoughtful enough to provide both options. The card games play very well and intuitively with the stylus too, which is mostly just a matter of sliding/swiping to move individual cards or stacks and tapping to draw/select cards when applicable.
The game's graphics are relatively basic, but very clean and easy on the eyes, and, for games of this nature, that's all that really matters. The only complaint I have about the visuals is that, in some of the solitaire games, sometimes larger rows/columns of cards can become tricky to read/differentiate on the DS' small screen, but, once you reduce their numbers through play, the individual cards become legible again. The music and sound effects are fairly pleasant as well.
If you don't already like Sudoku, crossword puzzles, or solitaire cards games, then this game probably isn't for you, but, if you do, then this title will provide mountains of gameplay that can easily keep you busy for months, if not years. I've already spent many hours enjoying this cartridge and will likely invest many more. Highly recommended!
