I'm an "older" gamer and love RPG and puzzle type games. Trace Memory offers both. My daughter is the one that interested me in the game, I borrowed hers and totally enjoyed it and even tho I beat the game, I'm now going to purchase my own copy and replay it, (apparently I missed something in the beginning of the game which will give you a "different" ending) and I think the game is that good to replay it. You start out as a young girl being taken care of by her Aunt, abandoned by her father after her Mother was killed (which she witnessed at a very young age) and is now off on a journey to find her father. She ends up befriending a young teenage "ghost", which, to me, becomes kind of a 2nd story to solve while solving original story. Without spoiling the game I will just say, check everything, everywhere. There is a bit much reading, but I found even that interesting. This is a great game for someone like me who loves playing games that aren't too difficult, I'm a great gamer but hate getting "stuck" on hard games, and this was enjoyable to me for the reason that I was able to beat it and have fun at the same time without it being overly complicated or difficult. I'm not one to play a game continuosly until I beat it (like all in one day), but I did play this one pretty steady for a couple weeks or so. In other words, it keeps you drawn in like a good book, you can't wait to see what happens next or what you'll have to do next. I'd highly recommend this game to anyone who likes to sit back and relax and enjoy the combination of a good story, solving puzzles and RPG games all combined into one great game. As for me, I think it's an awesome game to add to my collection and deffinately worth replaying.
