This game was decent for what it was.
I'll start by saying that this game is still decent for what it was, but do not expect anything spectacular getting this game. You still feel like you're playing Tenchu, but this game compared to all the other games was the weakest of all the games in the series. Both Ayame and Rikimaru could only attack once in each succession, so avoid head-on combat if at all possible(which sometimes can be challenging to do). You don't have your grappling hook in this game. Instead you're given an indispensable bamboo trap which you can set on the ground. It'll inflict heavy damage if stepped on(including your ninja). Your Ki Meter isn't as strong. Keeping your stealth is a lot harder. Your vision is limited. The camera will primarily focus over your character as you roam around and do missions. If you press against a wall, the camera will shift towards that direction. One unique feature new to the series is synthesizing items to make ninja gear such as shuriken or rice balls. You can collect various items while completing missions. You can mix these items later on the menu to make new ninja items. All in all, I wouldn't give this game much credit or props. It was just another game to me and I'll find other games. If you really want to play Tenchu to get the whole feel of playing a ninja, find the games on Playstation. I can't speak for the games on Xbox or Wii though.
