It’s a fun challenge and has very fun mini-games and the best part is that if you have friend(s) and they don’t own the game you can play 3 out of 6 mini-games through ds download play I highly recommend you get a ds and or dust of that old ds and play this game

I used to really like this game, granted it still has a lot of the same fun appeal, but some of the levels are just too hard. Practically impossible to beat levels right from the start. This one in particular has a wall of spinning things that pretty much knock you off the board on contact, and its seemingly impossibly to get around them

A fun platformer for the ds

If you liked the other super monkey ball games, this is worth checking out. Its party games are temporary. Even though you can use a stylus or the d-pad, it's a medley of both. There are very many fun levels in the story, and others are challenging. For fast levels, it might be useful to use the stylus. Other levels have thin rails and the d-pad is a good choice. It is fairly tricky. Sometimes my siblings would have to aid my quest throughout levels that are hard. This game lasted a fair amount of time on my ds. Good game again sega. (be careful, because I use this stylus, and sometimes the screen is scratched by sudden movements).

Nintedega's review for Super Monkey Ball T&R

This game is a great game but not as good as the original Gamecube titles. Its great if you wanna good game to take with you on the road but as far as just playing it just sitting in your house its more worth it to put in one of the originals on the Gamecube. The level design is simaler to the levels of the first games but the DS controls make it more difficult because with the DS your using a D-pad with the Gamecube your using a Analog Stick which is much easier with these type of controlls. The game gets exceedingly difficult very quick. Quicker than the originals and when this happens it just gets boring. There is a mode to play sports games with the monkeys and that is pretty fun too. So basicly what I'm getting at is, is if you want a good portable game this is for you but, if you want a good game for home-console gaming I'd suggest Super Monkey Ball 1 or 2 for Gamecube.

Based on the levels it is considered to be a port of super monkey ball DX a.k.a. Super Monkey 1 & 2 on the DS just missing some levels. Pretty much it's what I expect from a classic Super Monkey Ball experience.

Great Game

If you love monkey balls, then this is no different from the other monkey balls. With good graphics, nice sound, and cute characters, the game is nice. If you haven't played monkey balls, its about a monkey in a ball that goes through mazes and crazy courses to get to the finish. The game titles touch and roll, but I don't recommend to control the monkey with the styles because it is hard. Anyways if you love Monkey ball 1 and 2 then I bet you'll love this one as well.

Good Game overall

This game depends on you: Do you like games that you can be finished within a few months with a little bit of challenge? Or do you like to have a big challenge over the course of several months. If you answered yes to the second question then this game is a good pick (for budget minded players) but there is better. Super Monkey Ball Touch and Roll is just like Super monkey ball 1 and 2. The object of the game is to move you monkey player into the goal. A very simple object but as you get better at the game, the stages get harder and harder. For me, (I'm okay at Super Monkey ball on GC) it took seven months of play (playing about 1-2 times a week) This game surely is a challenge. When there's challenge there's frustration. If you're the impatient type, look elsewhere. This game requires a lot of patience, but once you finally beat it a rush of triumph runs through your spine, making it addicting. The controls for this game are not like the GC monkey ball. They aren't as sensitive and they aren't very good on tiny strips like the GC. (Both D pad and Touch screen) Though the touch screen is unique, and analog, or joy stick would be much better. The graphics are okay but aren't as inviting as the GC (limitations) but at least it's an improvement over the Gameboy (Super Monkey Ball Jr.) The interface is good and the sounds are okay too, but the music isn't as good as the GC's. (both SMB 1 and 2) Overall, this is a good but not excellent game. It gets you addicted but it can make you really mad! If you like a challenge then why not try this?!

With its eye-popping colors, adorable monkeys, fun multi-player games, and entertaining music, who COULDN'T love this game? It's just like the PS2 game- and other platform monkey ball games- only better. Using the control pad/stylus, roll your way through over 100 levels and 10 worlds. Expect a challenge, though, cuz this game keeps you on your toes the whole time with its sharp turns, narrow roads, and steep hills. The camera view isn't always the best, though, the music gets really old after a while, and the background is very distracting. Also, expect to get dizzy. Trust me on that one. You also get many options for party games (multi-player games); race with your friends on 6 unique tracks, golf, go bowling, air hockey, box, and play monkey wars (my personal favorite!) on 3 different levels. All-in-all, I give it a 9 1/2, because the camera view gets very annoying.
