Product Description

The courtroom drama is heating up with ruthless D.A., Franziska von Karma. New colorful characters, dramatic stories and gameplay- the defense never rests!

  • Play from the first person perspective through four shocking new cases
  • Two distinct gameplay segments:
  • - Investigation phase – survey crime scenes, interview witnesses and gather evidence that will be used in court- Court phase – present findings from the investigation to support your case, listen to testimonies, examine witnesses, and determine what is fact from fiction so you can prove your client's innocence
  • New “Psyche-Lock” feature – some witnesses may be keeping the truth under tight lock and key (aka the “Psyche-Lock” state), so in order to break them down, successfully open up their Psyche- Locks with a series of correct questions or catch them on their inconsistent testimony
  • New life bar represents Phoenix's status in court – by presenting incorrect evidence or following misguided attempts to break Psyche Locks, Phoenix's life bar will go down; the only way to regain this stat is to successfully open a witness's Psyche-Lock
  • Use the DS touch screen to navigate the game's interface and become deeply involved in court room proceedings by using the microphone to yell “Objection,” “Take that” and more!
  • Colourful cast of characters include both new and familiar faces

Bought used-Game keeps freezin up. Tried it in 3 different DS consoles with same trouble. I haven't been able to get back to the store so I may be out money because of a 7 day return policy on used games. I will still check tough.

    Another great mystery game

The second title in the Phoenix Wright series falls slightly short of the expectations of the first game, but maintains all that made it fun. This game shows more of the mediums and their techniques, which seems like a filler to the plot. However, while the story may not be as fun to play as the first game, it is certainly as intriguing. From discovering secret identities, facing a vengeful opponent, and saving his sidekick's life at any cost, this game certainly delivers as much drama, mystery, and comedy as the first. aside from a few swear words, this game is good and fun, falling just short of the first.

I love all the games in this series and play them over and over again, even though I know the endings!!! I would recomend this game and others in the series to everyone who likes to play mystery games as this is the gold standard to me. The graphics are great and the storylines make you laugh because of how funny the characters act/look. I have been looking for other games that are just as good as these and sadly, I havent found one yet. I do want to warn you that this is very addictive, and you will want to keep playing forsaking sleep and food if necessary!! The music is typical of DS games, and to be honest I dont usually play any games with the volume turned on, but this series's music did not distract me from the game play at all.

    Lives Up To Expectations.

The first Phoenix Wright game brought us out of our little "blast everything that moves" mindset on games and brought us into the thinking side of games that didn't involve "Let's see... should I use the rocket launcher or the grenade?" Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney showed us another side of gaming that the U.S. had never seen before. With it's witty dialog, interesting storyline and thought provoking problems, Ace Attorney ushered us into a trilogy of PW games. Justice For All is the second installment in this wonderful series. In this reviewers opinion JFA was the best of the three. With the introduction of the new Psyche-lock feature, the game was more challenging than the first (though I still recommend you play that one first to gain an appreciation and overall understanding of the characters and story thus far). The characters are endearing and witty, and the humor never fails to produce at the very least a slight smile. The cases introduce an almost entire cast of new characters from a ventriloquist to a serial killer (without leaving out our old favorites) as well as three new locations. And with the chance to have two different endings in the game, the outcome in the last case is entirely up to you. I would recommend this game series as well as Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney to anyone interested in crawling out of their dark, little, no-thinking hole and into some more eye-brow furrowing, head-itching game play. The only grievance is that the game just isn't long enough.
