I bought this game for my 3 year old daughter because she would scribble all over the DS Pictochat screen every time she played with the DS system. When I saw "Let's Draw" in the used game section of Gamestop I was a little skeptical about the game. Most games aren't geared for younger kids (I've found that out the hard way) and I was concerned "Let's Draw" would be no exception.
To my delight "Let's Draw" fit the bill nicely. The speaking voice is very clear, and the top screen shows the user step-by-step drawings of the figure to draw. The game offers a wide selection of objects including still life, animals, people, and so on. The game even offers a "gallery" in which you can store your artistic creations.
One of the best parts of this "game" is that it will animate your art in an appropriate scene. For example, once you finish drawing a Lady Bug "Let's Draw" will display your Lady Bug (or Lady Bird) on a leaf. You can animate it with the control buttons, then save your drawing to the Gallery to view or share later.
So, no more scribbling in Pictochat. "Let's Draw" guides the user to create and share fun drawings that are simple to draw.
