PROS: Elegant (mostly) graphics and effects; great music and good sound effects; excellent controls and responsiveness. CONS: Repetitive gameplay; bizarre and often frustrating difficulty curve; few customization options; uninteresting story; laughable dialogue in cutscenes. Try the Castlevania games for better balance and more interesting game dynamics.

This game has been a great play through. It has a great replay value and just an amazing storyline that begs for more game. This is a must have for fans of Shinobi side scrollers. I have been a fan of this game since it was on the arcade. The revamped, updated graphics make this game even sweeter and more tasteful to play. I would suggest the lovers of this type of game to play the hell out of it. I would like to see more games like this come out to the nintendo ds. If you are a fan of the gameboy advanced game Ninja five O you would be loving this game too. I'm a fan of the old classic side scrolling games like Metal Slug and the game Commando Steel Mission. Those are some great games to be playing. This game will not disappoint you in any way. Pick it up and enjoy.
