    Minigames are its saving grace
Man was this game a rather bad experience, the graphics are poor for the ds, and the ds can look good, (Just check out professor Layton games) and the story is a jumbled mess of a gmae. First, the catsle is to big to navigate, and i feel like i'm cramped up when I play it, I wish there was free space to move about as much as you want. Then there are the spells, I wish that you can just tap a button, and you could shoot out a spell, but you have to go through this mini-game like thing to preform it. The worst though is the battle system, Its like an RPG, but a porly designed one, I honestly didnt know what the heck i was doing, I just got lucky with half of the battles i did. There was one thing that was fun to do though, the mini-games! The minigames are just what I want in a harry potter game, Theyre fun to play, and some of them look pretty good. The mini-games are basicly classes around hogwarts you can do, and my favorite was Quiditch, or potions. So it is a mediocore game at best, you may like it, but I wouldn,t reccomend it, get two games for the original x-box ( Chamber of secrets/Prisoner of Askaban) they were excelent!

The minigames compensate for the average gameplay

The frustrating storyline is confusing, and it's rather dull. The majority of the plot involves Harry doing many chores, like cleaning the house, or finding someone's shoes. I don't seem to remember that from the book, which is why I don't recommend this game to anyone.

Harry Potter "The Chosen One" ???
This Harry Potter game is totally awesome, since the version is for Nintendo DS because you can play on the go and since it's touch screen. You get to teach Defense against the Dark Arts as Harry. Also at the end of the game when your at the Ministry of Magic and the Department of Mysteries you get to play as Dumbeldore and Sirius Black (Harry's Godfather).
