Greatness depends on the ending

Drawn to life: The Next Chapter is a great game that picks up right after the first game, however not everyone is aware that there are 2 versions (uncensored/original and censored). I won't spoil the original ending, but the censored version has a boy falling out of a tree (a disappointing ending). You won't know if the copy you buy is censored or not until you beat the game.

My 7yr daughter says she really likes this game yet it’s challenging. But she’s ok with that. Her reading level is above average as well.

I loved the first game, so i grabbed the first game i could find, and popped it in my DS, and it doesn't disapoint. The story is that color is disappearing from the world, and they need a hero. So the creator creates a hero, and you have to save the world. I love just about everything about the game, except for the ending, the ending was a sad, and rather disappointing conclusion, but everything else about the story was better, and the levels were extremly fun and creative, plus you have to other forms you can transform in to! A spider and a blob, my favorite was the spider, but i still liked the blob. So i say you should get the game, and have fun with it, like i have.

when i got this game, i was very pumped, because i really liked the first drawn to life,so i thought this was gonna be more fun. but i was really, REALLY wrong.this game was just BAD. first of all, this game was EXTREMELY easy.i beat it in 2 DAYS!!! in fact, this was the fastest time i beat a video game!! and the ending of the game is SOOOO sad and confusing!! the only 2 things i liked about the game is the music, and that you can upgrade your hero more.but the rest of the game wasn't too good. i do not think you should get this game. its a bad sequel to a amazing game.

I LOVED the story line until the end. The ending was disappointing to me. BUT it may not to you. The gameplay itself was fun though! Recommend it to any creative love-to-draw person!

This game is EXCELLENT. The story, the graphics, the levels, the ending. (The one I cried on.) Im not gonna reveal the ending. I know what happened, but could they make SOME kind of prequel FOR THE DS? I have heard nothing good about the Wii version too. I DEMAND A PREQUEL TO MY FAVORITE GAME OF ALL TIME.

It's great.

Most people would dislike this game because it's too short or too easy... and I agree. It's almost insultingly easy, but It's still a great game. The music is really nothing special with the exception of "Real Life" which one of the best songs I've heard on a DS game. Where this game is really good is on the dark story and good customization. You are basically viewed as a god and have the ability to draw your character, weapons, platforms, and other objects. Something new to this game is two forms. A blob and a spider. The blob is pretty much useless and feels like it's just there to make the game longer. The spider form is more fun since you can walk on walls and swing with your web. What I felt was a disappointment was the ending. Spoiler alert. After beating the final boss, you realize that the game ends on one of the biggest clichés; it was all a dream. This make me feel like everything I just did was a complete waste of time. Even with that, the game is enjoyable and a great continuation to the first.
